Britannia Hotel

Arriving at a new hotel brand can seem a mix of feelings, nervous as to what to expect and also a new exciting experience of what it will be like.
Sadly I'd heard quite negative comments about this group, and luckily I was quite surprised.
A large room with adequate space, a queen/king size bed and a cot for our daughter. Very clean, although our window looked out onto the service yard where we were woken by the staff grouped round smoking and laughing early the next morning. They had quite a sight too when I climbed up to close the window without realising they were just below (you know what I mean).
Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality.
Apparently other rooms were not up to the same standard and needed a refurb.
On the whole for us, we would use them again.
