Ramada Perth Hotel

I booked this two weeks in advance with active hotels. Got a perfectly adequate double room for just £40 a night, the week before christmas. Although the room wasn'tnyhing special,at ths price I could not fault it. Breakfast was not included but it was easy to find a close-by cafe to provide this for a few pounds. The hotel very close the centre of perth but in a quiet location. Perth is so beautiful at all times of year, but the crispness of the air and beauty of the river made this a great place for a weekend. Free parking, although not many spaces

Staff were unhelpful from the beginning. Could not sleep until about 1.00 am when party downstairs finished. When we went to have breakfast and then used public bathroom facilitles in hotel, there was vomit in bathroom. (obviously from the night before) When we checked out at approx. 10.00am and went to collect our car, more vomit on the hotel outside steps.

We have just come back from a 3 day break at The Ramada Hotel Perth Scotland, where the staff were nice and helpful, breakfast was a buffet style and most enjoyable as was the dinner at night. The room was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. If back in Perth we would certainly use this hotel.

This is a terrible hotel. The staff were rude and unhelpful, the meal was atrocious and over-priced, the bath was dirty, the toilet was blocked, the rooms were too noisy to get to sleep at night.

AArrgghh, almost no sleep here!! There was almost constant noise from some ventilation system throughout the night despite the assurance of reception that it would stop. Thin walls in the extension result in noise pollution from your neighbours. I could live with the crap decor but I need my sleep. Was in Perth for 2 nights but couldn't face another in this hotel, ditched it in favour of a friend's sofa!! Ahh peace and quiet and a good night's sleep!! P.S Breakfast staff attentive and the buffet was OK.

It's not all bad, has the smell of an old pub! Staff were friendly, and happy to help, and the breakfasts were lovely! but the room wasnt great, the walls are incredibly thin! and the bed is like sleeping on concrete! the windows are not that good, need a bit of repair overall, its ok for a night or two!

Forget how nice this place looks when you arrive, the place is a shambles with crumbling decor and dreadful rooms. Breakfast was a truly awful experience with greasy, nasty food and dirty tables requiring cleared away. The staff are generally very nice but they have a well-worn look of resigned ignorance to the foibles all around them. Location is pretty good although difficult to find with the website directions laughably poor. The annoyance of this place is that it actually could be ok as there is plenty that could be done to improve things. Definitely a place aimed at coach parties for a one night stay (later arrival / early departure) etc etc. Avoid, avoid, avoid...
