I have just spent a night at the Carlton Hotel with a family group of 14 for my Mums 70th Birthday.
The hotel was very pleasant; the staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms whilst small were very clean and you had everything you needed.
The restaurant was lovely and the food was excellent especially the breakfast.
We had small children with us and even though they ran around and were noisy at times the staff did everything to accommodate us.

We stayed here for one night and that was enough! Blackpool is brilliant, we've been many times, but we chose the wrong B & B this time!
The smell hit you when you walked in, the bedroom carpet was dirty and worn, the toilet did not flush properly, there was a layer of dust everywhere. The furniture was dated and tatty! We paid £25 each for B & B and were hugely disappointed.
It looks nothing like the photos on their website and has obviously not been renovated for several years in our opinion.
