Quality Mill Hotel

My wife and i stayed in this hotel last week, we where visiting friends who only have a small house and recommended the hotel as it was only £19 per night for two people.
1. We arrived at the hotel to find no receptionist or staff member in sight, after waiting nearly half an hour a woman appeared smelling very strongly of cigarettes. She had no apologies even when we explained we had to wait.
2. We checked in (finally) and found our way to our room, down some funny selling dark corridors (much like an old hospital or care home).
3. The Room......... I have never seen a poorer excuse for a hotel room, the room stank of mold, there where cracks in the ceiling and walls and patches of damp. To add to this the bed was dirty and damp and the TV didn’t work.
4. We asked to move rooms and finally we got moves (an hour later), the room was slightly better but very similar problems as above, but as we were getting hungry we stick with it.
5. The food....The only reason we gave this hotel 1 out of 10 is the food at least that was good, good size potions! The rest of the hotel gets 0!!!
6. Entertainment.......The choice was loud, karaoke, full of drunks or loud, karaoke, full of drunks, we chose bed.
7. Nights sleep...........It was fine for the first half an hour or hour but come 11pm it turned into a hell hole, i have honestly stayed in worse youth hostels. There where drunk children running round banging on doors. Couples fighting in the corridors. People holding some sort of drug dealing operation outside my room. The list is endless, i think we got only a few hours sleep.
8. The next morning......As you can expect, first thing in the morning we left even though we where booked in for 2 days, the young lady on reception was very helpful but no refund was offered.
DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL, HOW EVER CHEAP IT IS YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF IN A YOUTH HOSTEL!
