Hotel Description:

Situated on Queen's Promenade just a short tram ride from Blackpool town centre, the Norbreck Castle is much more than just a hotel. The many leisure facilities include indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, solarium, steam room, whirlpool spa, gym, aerobics and dance studio, hair and beauty treatment rooms, cinema and snooker/games room. A seasonal programme of nightly entertainment is staged with dancing, family disco and cabaret. The hotel has under gone a complete refurbishment, due for completion Spring 2005.

" Avoid at all costs "

Family of 2 adults and 2 children arrived at this building which looks like a Prison and is miles out of Blackpool centre. They hold large controversial conferences such as L6(look this up)and booking.com who we booked though didnt tell us in advance.... read more

" A Filthy Doss House "

Stayed for two nights . . . rejected three rooms before I found the cleanest out of the three that I was prepared to sleep in. Where do I start . . . Bloody stains on bedding . . . filth and dust everywhere . . .paint peeling off the bath etc etc. A complete hell hole !
Avoid like the plague !

Booked for 3 nights but only managed 2 which was a struggle! Absolutely disgusting place. What looked like blood stain on top of white duvet which must have been noticed when bed made up, brown smears on wall near bed, shower gel splattered all over... read more

" Never ever again Norbreck "

Just returned from a most horendous 3 night stay at the Norbreck Castle Dump. How Visit Blackpool/Environmental Health allows this Hotel to continue to operate I will never know.

Advice: Liked Blackpool-near to lots of towns and the beach and is nice and quiet!

Activities: clevelys and blackpool and the front and fleetwood but the hotel too!
