We stayed here just before Christmas...

We stayed here just before Christmas as we had to come to Manchester to do some last minute shopping.
We stayed at Great John Street and had an amazing time. The place is just stunning - Full of character and friendly staff. They have a gorgeous cocktail bar downstairs or if you want something more exclusive they have a Lounge on the rooftop complete with hot tub!
Our room was huge (Based on two floors) with a freestanding bath in the room! In all we had a superb stay and the service was faultless! 10/10.

Spent three nights at gjs hotel and have to say it is one of the best. If you like small, boutique hotels this is perfect for you. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a variety of choice. The meals in the bar were extremely good with big portions. Cocktails were delicious! All staff very friendly. Room was gorgeous, clean and modern with the air of Victorian still visible, we stayed in the Classical Grand and weren’t disappointed at all. Shower was amazing like being in a rainforest rainfall. Would defiantly recommend especially for couples of any age. Quite a lot of stairs and lift only goes to second floor so you have to walk to the roof top up another two flights - so if anyone has difficulty with this just bear it in mind. A lovely place to get away relax and unwind and perfect distance to drive into Manchester for some retail therapy! Beautiful!
