Stayed one night, had booked 2 weeks beforehand for parking and stay after holiday in Fuerteventura arrived 1.30am and told there was a problem with the room. The toilet did not flush... but would provide us with a bucket! There had also been a leak in the ceiling but its not leaking now! Room was disgusting... I didn’t even dare take my shoes off as the carpet was so sticky! No sleep due to itching as the blankets looked filthy, couldn’t wait to leave! Breakfast cold, overcooked and old! Room 17 needs to be locked, like I say they had known for two weeks we were arriving... But after a flight and having a house sitter we could not drive home.

I recently had to go to Altrincham on business, the arrangements were made through work for the hotel, we were given a choice of 3 and I chose this one as it looked the best. Don’t make the same mistake.
It’s ok for a 2 day business trip but do not go here for pleasure or as a couple! The rooms were ‘quirky’ with half the light bulbs not working and unpredictable hot water. On the first day my colleague had no hot water on the second he couldn’t get any cold!
We requested non-smoking rooms and were put on the top floor with 6 flights of stairs and no lifts. Staff were friendly though I don’t think the receptionists first language was English as she didn’t understand 3 of my questions, in the end I just has to nod and she smiled and that was that. Oh and take your own pillows!
They only give you one and they smell pretty bad! I nearly chopped off a finger on the windows too! They slam shut, but ever room seems to have a different type of window so it could just be me.
Apparently at full rate it is £120 a night, there is no way I would pay this I think £40 would be pushing it! Oh and in the picture on their web site you will see a swimming pool. Well it’s not included; you have to pay around £4 a go. On a good note the breakfast was ok.
