The noisiest hotel we have ever stopped in constant noise from dawn till dawn (24 hours)from doors banging to the late bar that was open till 3.00am also the fish market across the road and the Friday and Saturday Disco next to the fish market that went on till 5.30 am and was a constant beat that could be heard any were in the hotel.Food was good but did get a bit repetitive after 7 days as they started to repeat the last seven day menu to many drunken golfers who could not care who they insulted but that is what you get when big parties are let to say in a hotel.Do not pay the extra for a room with a pool view as these get all the noise from the bar till 3.00am and some times you may want to go to bed before 3.00am we had to get moved in the end and strange as it sounds the quietest rooms the hotel told us are the ones over the garage entrance which we did move too and yes they were right they were the quietest ones.In all there sister hotel is a better place if you want a quite and relaxing holiday went to check it out and it was a fare better place than the one in the town.

The hotel is very much a hidden Gem in an ideal location. About 30 mins from the airport, the hotel is based in a lovely village not far from the Spanish border.
We only stayed 3 nights but there was plenty to do and plenty of restaurants etc for a week’s stay.
The hotel was exceptional value for money (we paid around £65 for 2 for 3 nights B&B). This was in October and therefore out of season, however the weather was warm enough for poolside lounging but not too hot.
The hotel was very much business orientated with a couple of conferences going on, however these were no trouble at all and left plenty of room round the large pool. The hotel facilities were good (although there was an extra charge for use of the indoor pool/health suite) and the room was clean and good value for money.
My only criticism would be the outdoor pool - I have never been in a colder pool!! The benefit of this is that once you get over the initial shock, the pool was so cold that there was never anyone else in it - so good for brave swimmers!
Breakfast was a very large buffet and catered for all tastes. Dinner was al la Carte or buffet. We ate in only once (mainly as the choice of local restaurants was good), and the dinner buffet was large and relatively good value for money.
If you search the internet for a good deal on this hotel, I would thoroughly recommend and we will be visiting again (perhaps when slightly hotter so as to enjoy the beaches!).

This is a super 4 star hotel. The staff spoke very good English; the breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of fruits, cereals, hot food, breads, cheeses, and meats.
The pool area was great and the health club also excellent. The location of the hotel could not have been better and it was a five minute stroll into the lovely town area and the riverside.
My rating would have been a ten but just two things let this otherwise super hotel down - the wardrobe space was limited and drawers were few and far between, BUT, the main problem was the beds. I have never slept or failed to sleep on such hard mattresses. I asked for a softer one but even the extra camping style Z beds had the same hard mattresses on them.
Eventually after 4 sleepless nights I bought an air bed / pool inflatable and thereby managed to sleep for the rest of the holiday. I mentioned this on my hotel questionnaire so hopefully the hotel will invest in a small number of softer mattresses for people with back / sleeping problems.
We will certainly go back to Tavira and this hotel but next time I'll take my air bed with me.

This hotel suffers from poor acoustics.
Which meant disturbed sleep for me due to slamming doors and inconsiderate guests; it's a shame as apart from the embarrassing entertainment and rowdy golf groups, it's quite a nice hotel.
Breakfasts are good, staff are helpful, the local restaurants (Aquiliana and Rive Gauche) and bars (Patricks and Santa Lucia) are preferable to the hotel facilities.
Enjoyed the mini train around Tavira, the beach at Barril (via the train), Olaho harbour, Camera Obscura.
Tavira is a really nice place, away from the tourist areas and hope to go back one day but would probably choose self catering accommodation next time.

A beautiful hotel with extremely courteous staff.
The reason for only a 70% rating is threefold.
Firstly the breakfast seemed a rather haphazard event with the drinks dispenser seemingly not all working at the same time.
The food, however was plentiful.
Secondly, the hotel uses trolleys in the early morning and these do make rather a clatter on the tiled floor.
Tyred wheels would be a vast improvement as would the staff if they would take steps to curtail the noise made in the lobby by returning guests late at night.
The town of Tavira is a beautiful venue with an abundance of fine open air restaurants (especially the one in the Market Place displaying a multi lingual menu)
Lastly, if you do nothing else try the local restaurant Sangria.
Not particularly strong (alcohol wise) but a taste that will stay with you until you return.

A beautiful hotel with lovely staff.
The pool is gorgeous, the indoor pool and health spa are wonderful. Tavira is a very quiet place but is perfect for relaxation. We did not have a car but if you rented a car you would have the option of going to the busier places.
Tavira is a lovely place to walk round with lots of little shops and a market in the evenings. There are also several really nice restaurants and snack places.
Please have a wonderful time in this hotel- my boyfriend and I loved it!

We had two people from the family booked in to the hotel and when we went to drop them there we couldn't resist. We booked rooms for our self aswell as the two that already had rooms there.

It's a really beautiful hotel and has really nice poeple working there. The surrounding area is also realy nice with clubs and bars near by. There are beaches, and you can even drive to Spain from there as we did. Also, lots of water parks to go to and the food and reastaurants are amazing.
