The Dene Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, we arrived early, they kindly allowed us to have our room as it was ready. The staff and the food were excellent. Would certainly stay again, very good value for money.

Not the best of hotels. One key had access to other rooms, which is not very good if you have valuable possessions, as they state that they are not liable on notices in the rooms. The receptionist was not very helpful (Laura). Also got thrown out of hotel due to me being friends that had mis-behaved even though I had done nothing wrong, which was proved by their cctv, but they still threw me out. Also the resident bar had the football match on but the tv was on mute & they would not turn it up. 1/10 for the Dene hotel, Chester.

we spent 2 nights here as we were attending a wedding in chester zoo.location was just right.if not wearing wedding finery could have walked into chester quite quickly.staff were pleasant and we ate one night in the hotel and for £25.00 had a 3 course meal for 2 with wine.good value. our room was in the main part and was acceptable.saw the motel rooms alongside but did not see in one.ourroom was clean although dated decoration.would stay again breakfast on both days was hot and edible.
