Reviews of Quality Hotel, Ashbourne

10 out of 10. I was married at the Asbourne Hotel on the 27th of Sept 2008. The hotel is very comfortable and warm, very clean and in a lovely setting. The staff are fantastic and will do anything to make your stay a good one. Rob the Manager of the hotel is very understanding of the customer's needs and very provided us with a very warm welcome. I advise anyone to stay at the hotel. My whole family stayed at the hotel in a various different rooms and we all came to the same conclusion, the rooms and beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was great too. We are now going to book the hotel for New Years eve.

In my opinion I would NOT recommend this Hotel

As in last review published, the Bathrooms are unkempt with Cobwebs and Mold - Very dated

The bedrooms are small - not like one pictured on Web site - with no information in them as to even making a phone call !

I would recommend Finding another Hotel - not worth any room rate in my opinion .

TERRIBLE HOTEL - We had booked a family room and it was located amongst the designated smoking rooms and it stank! The bathroom was dirty and very dated with mold on the walls and around the bath. The toilet was filfthy. The food in the restaurant was overpriced and very poor and the breakfast was was very cheap quality produce. The receptionist informed me they didn't have any baby changing facilities on the ground floor so we had to go back to our room to do nappy changes. I complained to the hotel manager and the head office and they couldn't care less. NOT RECOMMENDED

This hotel was lovely! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for two nights as we were going to Alton Towers which is only a short drive away from the hotel. The staff at this hotel were really helpful, and very friendly.



The room we stayed in was lovely, it was very clean and spacious. Although we were only staying b&b we paid to eat in the restaurant. The meal was very nice, but maybe a little pricey. We didn’t use the leisure facilities but we did look through the door and it seemed very nice. The breakfast was really good, they had a very large selection laid out for all the guests. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would visit here again.



This hotel is very good if you wish to go to Alton Towers as it is only about a 15 min drive away and the hotel does a deal where you get tickets and the accommodation for a reduced price.
