Express by Holiday Inn Leicester Walkers Stadium Hotel

We had a very pleseant stay at this hotel for one night recently. On arrival we found the staff polite and helpful. The room was very clean and well equipped, air conditioned which we found helpful as it was very hot. The breakfast was continental but there was something for everyone and we didnt feel rushed. The hotel was clean throughout and your couldnt fault it. We needed information on buses and local amenities and the staff were more than helpful. have stayed a few times now - all been good. good parking provision, easy enough to find facing the walkers stadium (also a citreon dealer nearby). No evening meals on offer - but a nandos and morrisons only around the corner near to the cinema. rooms always been clean, not a great deal of choice on the tv - but ok for a budget hotel. always fully stocked with coffee,tea in the room. internet at £10 is steep. breakfast always acceptable and clean. check in and out fairly straight forward. one of my... more

Right next to the Walker's Stadium. This hotel offered a efficient check in, and although the room was a little shabby around the edges but both this and the bathroom were immaculately clean and of a good size. But the towels were very hard. The continental breakfast buffet offered a good choice and I would happily stay in this hotel again.

There are few hotels in Leicester but this one must be avoided by all means. I think after staying in this Holiday Inn Express I will never ever again patronize the Holiday Inn. There were stains on the couch – I will not speculate on what they were but you can guess for yourself. The bed was some sort of horrible soggy experience. The bathroom was surprisingly clean.

Confortable room. Everything works. Gym nearby. Great location for runners-lovely river nearby. Quiet Staff is available and answers the phone. Simple but good breakfast. No aires. Love it.
