Stayed here for 2 nights when we were in the area for a friend’s wedding. The couple we went with had been before and booked direct with the hotel along with booking dinner for us on the 2nd night in hotel restaurant as it was mine and my husband’s wedding anniversary.
When we arrived our rooms were upgraded to suites due to our celebration and when we entered the rooms we were presented with champagne and roses! Lovely touch, also waiting for us at reception was the restaurant Manager with the unfortunate news that the following evening the restaurant was closed but provided us with the opportunity of private dining in the Presidential Suite and the Chef had prepared a menu for us with his recommendations. We were totally amazed at the service and attention to detail from everyone at the hotel and cannot wait to return.
The hotel itself is amazingly beautiful, the rooms we had looked into the inner courtyard dining area where we enjoyed dinner late on the evening we arrived (5 mins before closing but they still accommodated us). Food was amazing at dinner and breakfast was plentiful.
There is a stunning bakery / tea room adjoining the hotel which is a MUST! Absolutely fantastic cakes and sweets, great to chill!
Highly recommend it – when can I go back?
TIP - for a bit of luxury get a limo from the airport, very cheap compared to UK prices, c£45 for exec car with champagne! Well worth it!
