This was a standard Premier Lodge located just outside Stafford, not quite within walking distance of the town centre but only a 5 minute drive.
There is a pub next to the Premier Lodge where you can have an evening meal and a drink, and they serve breakfast at the hotel although it did seem a bit pricey.
The room had a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed, however, the sofa bed was very hard so I didn't have a great night sleep, although I am reliably informed that the bed was quite comfortable.
All in all this hotel was adequate but due to the hardness of the sofa-bed mattress I would think twice about staying her again, unless I was sleeping in one of the beds.
