A very nice, clean and tidy hotel!
Helpful and nice staff.
There is lovely little bakery, cafe and supermarket down the road. It is a short walk into the town centre (about 20 minutes).
It had been snowing for the previous 3 weeks solidly and typically stopped the day we arrived! It was great fun walking in the snow and then the slush over the 4 days we were there. Though we were the only people we walking around because sensible people drive!
Hotel Meals:
Breakfast was cold meats and cheese, cereals and bread.
Iceland is very expensive anyway and the hotel restaurant was A La Carte. It was expensive for dessert over £10 for a chocolate cake. If you enjoy seafood I believe they were good value because it is a local industry.
I highly recommend going to the Blue Lagoon it was really nice and relaxing!
There was even a business meeting going on in the lagoon, if only I could have meeting there!
Overall A Fantastic Holiday Destination and Hotel!
Though beware it is an expensive destination, you can expect food and drink to be of a similar cost if not more to the centre of London per meal.
I can't wait to go back!
