Kegworth Whitehouse Hotel

Me, my partner and our toddler stayed here over the weekend. I booked the £27 per person for bed and breakfast and two tickets to Twycross Zoo. Well what can I say - what a bargain! The hotel is situated in a lovely village near the motorway and the airport and lots of fun places. Twycross Zoo was only 25 minutes away. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I had booked a double room and asked for a cot for my little one and it was already in there upon our arrival (in some other hotels we have had to go and ask again and again). I also couldn't believe the size of the room for the money we paid. We had been upgraded to an executive double (without asking or paying) and it was a lovely size space. The bed must have been king size at least if not super king. Very clean and bright. There's plenty of parking spaces and if you are going on holiday East Midlands Airport is 10 mins away if that. We had breakfast in the morning which was good. Not a vast amount of food there but adequate for everyone's needs. All in all we will definitely be going back to this hotel. We highly recommend it.

Stayed for one night prior to flight to Rome. Everything went very smoothly. Transfers very professional and on time. Continental room service breakfast at an ungodly hour a very nice touch. Make use of the swimming pool - small but very refreshing after a hot journey. Towels provided. Food (bar snacks) ok but nothing special. Only complaint is very creaky corridor floors! Would definitely go again tho - better than the usual big chain airport hotels.
