Ramada Hotel & Suites

I booked this as a last minute suprise and got a great deal. Staff are very efficient and friendly, from arrival to departure. We dined in Fellinis restaurant and I have to recommend it, the steak is by far the best I have ever eaten. We had a suite, which was an upgrade, but well worth the extra, as you get lots for your money, as it was huge with a kitchenette area and 2 LCD screen TV's. I have recently returned from a stay at the Ramada in Coventry. I was happy with the overall hotel and service. It is a central location and great base for business in the city (close to rail station, ring road, and city centre). My room was upgraded to a corner suite. The room was clean, spacious and had all the amendities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were not overly helpful, nor did having a broken chain lock on my door- but overall a good stay. This hotel was a pleasant surprise - it was booked for me on a business trip and looks fairly grim from the outside. However I had a studio room, with separate living area, giant flat screen TV and very nice bathroom. Restaurant was very good one night, not quite as good the next but still OK, and unusually for a hotel restaurant I didn't feel I had paid too much. Stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed for the price. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and very polite. The room was large, comfy and had two plasma t.v's! The bathroom was spacious and very clean, super shower too. Tthe restaraunt was lovely though a little expensive. Car park was £3 a night and is right next door and secure. If we stay in the Midlands again we will come here again with out a doubt.

We stayed at the Ramada in March 2006 for a night out in our home city. The hotel has recently opened, having been fully refurbished from a former office block and is one of the tallest buildings in the city. We were therefore looking forward to a great view and a great hotel experience. We were not disappointed! We had booked a standard double and had requested a high floor. My husband is currently staying at the Ramada for several weeks. I went up there with our 10 month old daughter last weekend for a visit. We stayed in one of the suites. The facilities are in good condition and very clean. We had two plasma TV's, kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee machine, crockery and cutlery. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room service was very quick. On the downside and there always is one I thought that the pillows were awful, hard sponge and very high. This problem was rectified... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the valentine's weekend, and stayed with the v.day package. I have to say it was a lovely hotel, the bedroom was nice and spacious, it was very clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The only negative was our room was close to the lift and therefore a little noisey when it was in use. The lift was not used during the night so didnt disturb our sleep. Looking forward to our return visit.
