Located in the centre of the old city, the building does suffer from noise as you would expect from a central location. Around the pool, it is decked out in wood and as a result splinters in the feet and hands were very common.
There is no entertainment other than a pool table.
The half board food - breakfast was reasonably varied, but the evening meal basic. Waiter served, only one starter, a "soup" the main meat course was either cold or of a poor cut. One night I am sure I had spam fritters which was described as Pork escallops! I didn't see any "room only" guests eating evening meals here...16 Euros for set evening meal, go out and eat, its cheaper and better.
Half bottle of house wine 5 euros...local market, full bottle 1 Euro. Same wine.
Staff were very good and friendly
If you hire a car, beware, you have to pay parking as there is no hotel car park.
