" A fabulous 4-star hotel, right on the... "

A fabulous 4-star hotel, right on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella. This is unusual in Florence, because it has an outdoor swimming pool - and very nice it is too, set in its own small gardens, with bartender on hand to bring drinks to your sunbed.

There's a terracotta tiled rooftop terrace with views all across Florence, and the hotel's within walking distance of all the city. We had a great room (two adults, one child) that was over two floors - a mezzanine level bedroom and bathroom. Can't praise it enough.
