just come back after a 2week break at this hotel, rooms very spacious and clean, bathrooms look as they have been re-vamped,was slightly worried after reading some of the reviews but we all loved it,don,t be put off by the reception area, this could do with a lick of paint though, wait till you get to the room, very large pool, and the bar and restaurant area is fantastic right by the waters edge, one of the most relaxing hotels i,ve stayed at

after reading reviews was unsure, but have to say that this was an amazing holiday. rooms basic but very clean and secondry to the amazing views and charms of this un spoilt, working community that adds up to an experience of traditional turkey. The boat yard was an attractive cultural addition to this paradise corner that lies just kilometres away from the typical tourist town centre. we really found it hard to drag our selves away from this hotel location. staff welcoming and friendly and almost like family.......we took over the kitchen to cook curry and sunday lunch. will definateley go back...... by the way i have travelled much of turkey.........this hotel and location has a definate come back lure

although the rooms are a little out-of-date, they were very clean and comfortable.
the bar staff were very friendly and were always keen to help.
it can sometimes be a little noisy as boat yard was full, but atmosphere amazing and beautiful views. the hotel is in a perfect location as not far from fethiye town centre and near to some lovely beaches.
the swimming pool was reasonable, and the meals were delicious!!!
can't wait until i can go again!!!

I love this hotel. After enjoying it so much last year we returned this year and had an even better time. Admittedly the rooms are very basic and could do with a refurb but that didnt matter to us as the location is amazing over looking the sea and the staff especially Emre and Oz were so welcoming and friendly nothing was to much trouble. We made some good friends and will definetely be returning in May 2009. The 'Arena' in fethiye is a fantastic restuarant and dont miss the small beaches just down the road from the hotel as well of coarse as the beautiful blue lagoon in olu deniz. I saw a huge turtle there, swimming about 10 foot from me.

The condition of the rooms are very very poor, they have not been updated for years.
We found it very noisy from the working boatyard in front of the hotel. It’s a shame because the views from the balcony are wonderful.
I guess you get what you pay for. We only stayed 2 days instead of 10 days.
We moved to Hisaronu to a very nice hotel for only 1 pound more a night. You should do the same. 26/10/07.

My friend and I had a lovely holiday in Fethiye and really enjoyed our stay at Mediteran hotel.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were good value, had all the facilities and were clean. I thoroughly recommend it!

This is the most peaceful and calm hotel we have stayed at in Europe. It is about a mile out of the main town (1 Lira on the dolmus and they run every 5 mins or so), and although surrounded by a boatyard, there is no noise during the day.
The hotel is not the best looking you will ever stay in, but its clean and the staff are very helpful and all speak excellent English. The pool is fantastic - big, not too deep in the shallow end and plenty of sun loungers and parasols (its in the sun all day).
There is plenty to do in Fethiye with a good selection of bars and restaurants to try. We recommend the Duck pond and the Cozy Restaurant for friendly staff, excellent food and fantastic service.
