Passy Eiffel Hotel

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Passy Eiffel for the first time in March 2007. It was our first time in Paris and we stayed for 4 nights for my birthday. We were very impressed with this hotel, it is in a fantastic location near the Eiffel Tower, which you can see from some rooms. There was also a shopping centre down the road with a few good clothes shops, a few nice restaurants nearby and the metro stop was just down the road. What a great find the Hotel Passy Eiffel was. Had a very large triple room on the 5th floor which was very clean and had ample towels and toiletries for the 3 of us and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our bedroom window which was amazing when it was lit up. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not great (not much choice) but the coffee was fresh and hot and the croissants were very good. Excellent location, friendly, cautious, great value/money, nothing negative.

I have just returned from a 4 day break in Paris with my boyfriend for Valentines / Birthday. We had a wonderful time in the Passy Eiffel hotel great staff, lovely breakfast and prime location. We were 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower 5 minute walk to the trocoderro and a 1 minute walk to the local metro - which I must say was so simple to use and very resonable comapared to Taxi prices. I just wrote the previous review two nights into a five night stay. I'm not so enthusiastic as I was about the hotel. Still a nice clean, convenient place to stay, but the internet went out for a day and a half during my stay (which was for business -- internet was required). The night receptionist told me yes, it was out, and no, they wouldn't be calling anyone about the problem until the next day. Hrm. I return to France about every 3-4 y4ars. Sometimes I rent a car and travel around the country. Sometimes I simply stay in Paris and enjoy all the city has to offer. There are many hotels like the Passy Eiffel in size and services and I've stayed in a variety of them. The Passy Eiffel is a delightful hotel, with an extremely friendly and knowledgable staff. I have just returned from a 4 day break in Paris and would recommend this hotel to those travellers who are looking for somewhere that has it's own character and is not a large modern impersonal hotel. It is in a quiet location but is very convenient for the Metro and is just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are clean, pleasant and are well heated. The staff were helpful and answered any queries we had. I would definitely stay here again.

I was recommended to stay in the Passy area by a Frenchman!! It is more residential and quiet, but a little out of the way. The hotel was fine...rooms were of adequate size and the bathrooms were fairly large for European standard!! Did not eat meals there...there are pastry shops nearby as well as cafes's...you could even get an egg for an additional 4 euros! The only reason I gave it 3 stars was the relatively unhelpful front desk...when I asked questions I got the standard.."I don't know"..they certainly did not bend over... more

I was referred to the Hotel Passy-Eiffel by another hotel that was under renovation. What a pleasant surprise! We walked from the Passy Metro stop, passed through a nice neighborhood with cafes and were in the hotel in less than 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and accomodating and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We're heading back to Paris in June and will book our rooms at this hotel again. Very pleasant!

Good value, friendly staff, large room and bathroom and really clean. A bit away from the tourist areas ( just across the river from the Eiffel Tower) but 2 min walk from the nearest Metro (Passy) and a pleasant scenic walk across the river to the Eiffel Tower and the RER line to Notre Dame. A couple of decent eating places around. Two complaints: 1) the aircon didn't work during our two days there but we were assured that it was a temporary problem being fixed, and 2) at 10 E per head breakfast while decent is really not worth it.
