Club Falcon Hotel Reviews
" Lovely hotel but only go if you like... "
Submitted By: Miss J Webster
Lovely hotel but only go if you like Russians, Germans, Iranians and Turkish men in suits who hold conferences there. The hotel even swapped the chairs for newer clean ones whilst the business men were there and then swapped them back again after they left. It's obviously not a hotel where many English go. Not that I mind people of other nationalities. It's just that when the Russians get drunk they are very loud and seem to like to start arguments and fights.
Most things are even priced in Euros in Antalya to cater for the northern European countries even though the Turkish currency is Lira. Only complaint about the hotel is the room door key which very rarely worked. Sometimes it could take at least a dozen tries before the door would open.
We did tell reception a couple of times whereby they did try and reactivate the card again but it still didn't work any better. I think the people in the next room had the same trouble with their key because one night there was a lot of shouting and banging and when we came out of our room in the morning their door had been kicked in to get in.
We couldn't fault the food or the service in the hotel. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. The towels and bedding were changed every day. There is no beach a tall near the Club Falcon as all of that part of the coastline is built on very high cliffs with steps down to a sun platform so not very good for children.
When we were there the platform hadn't been put back down after being taken up for the winter so looked quite dangerous. Also I thought it was warm enough for the pools to have been filled. Luckily we had a nice warm indoor pool along with a very hot sauna and Turkish bath.
The best beach resort nearby is Konyaltti on the other side of Antalya. If i went to Antalya again that's where I would stay and it’s a shorter bus ride into the centre of Antalya than from the Falcon. One day we hopped on a bus up to the end of Lara beach and that actually looks a horrible place to stay.
Some friends drove us up to Saklikent one day, the ski resort behind Antalya, so we could play snowballs. That was a really nice day out and well worth a visit. We also hired a car one day and hopped on lots of busses to see all the local sights.
Even though I had a lovely holiday and it's always nice to explore and see a different area I still prefer Fethiye, Ovacik and Olu deniz.

For 50 Euros each (20 Euros for kids), we were able to spend a day as guests on an all-inclusive basis. Beautiful food, drinks and well-maintained facilities made the stay very enjoyable, though we only went there two days out of our fourteen.
My only problem was that the snack foods available were chips and pizza. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
We went during a heatwave and the temperature reached 53C... so keep an eye on the weather reports and take plenty of Factor 30 sun lotion with you.
