having been to Turkey many times we are well aware of basics within 2 star hotels. However, we were pleasantly surprised by our hotel; the staff were friendly, restaurant area and food good. Our bedroom was cleaned everyday with finishing touches to the bed linen.
The only down side was the pool area being a little unsafe especially for children. A good central position to many amenities, disappointed with beach, very shingle like and unable to walk along the waterfront.
Overall hotel a 9 out of 10.

I read many negative reviews before going but for a 2 star hotel it wasn’t too bad for a total of £280.00 half board including flights and transfers.
I was on the top floor, which was empty apart from myself so was able to take a few photos of various rooms so you can see for yourselves that many of the negative reports about the state of the rooms are not really justified. However, the rooms are very hot and if you leave your door open it is very noisy as you are close to a busy road and there is also music blasting out until the early hours. Air conditioning is £5.00 a night if you want it. A better option is to purchase a fan from one of the many supermarkets close by. There was one in Tesco, 5 minutes into the backstreets, for around £6.00.
The food consisted of soup followed by either spaghetti or rice every evening with either chicken, pork or fish with chips or mash, green beans and as much salad as you wanted. If you wanted more meat or fish you could go back up and get some. The problem I found was that everything was very overcooked. Breakfast consisted of Tea, coffee, fruit juice, salad and melon.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful apart from a creepy slime-ball who was presumably the head drinks waiter who seemed to be in charge of the younger waiters. He was also responsible for trying to attract passing holidaymakers in to buy food or drinks. From what I saw he frightened more away than he got in! On the first night I had had a few drinks before dinner and didn’t particularly want a drink with my meal. He made a right fuss, trying to tell me I had to buy a drink with my meal. I soon put him in his place and he never spoke a word to me for the rest of the two weeks. I was pleased about that.
The Hotel is situated around 20 minutes stroll to the harbour area where all the nightlife is. It is barely two minute across the road to a long sandy beach but it is quite difficult to get into the water in that particular area as there is a rocky shelf right on the shoreline. I preferred to stroll for 15minutes to the right of the Hotel down to the Town Beach which was reasonably quiet, free sun beds, showers, changing rooms and easy access into the sea.
Forget about the Hotel pool. It is small, cold and only gets the sun until around 9.30am.
Verdict? Definitely 2 Star but if you want a cheep fortnight in the sun and can put up with the creepy slime-ball – go for it.
