Really dont know where i can start with this hotel. From the minute you arrive you feel instantly impressed. The hotel is set on a hillside and the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained.when we were shown to our rooms we couldnt believe the level of service we recieved, the bell boys wouldnt even let you pick your case up,we got took to our room on a golf buggy and as soon as we walked in we couldnt believe how spacous and ultra modern the room was, with its big walk in shower to walk in wardrobe we couldnt have asked for any more even te free mini bar filled with soft drinks water and beer.the maids came to change the bedding and towels everyday and you felt extra secure with the free safe in your room.
The food was amazing and always offering a wide choice to suit everyone with so many places to eat from the main resturant to the pool bar, beach bar and the patissire serving delicious cakes and ice creams!we got on really well with all of the staff and they were brilliant with the children in our group and nothing was ever to much to ask from them,we especially made friends with ercan, yildo, kenan and mr massage who was funny shouting "massage time" to everyone, but all the staff were fantastic. The beach was great and very chilled out and its worth trying out the water sports costing from 30tlfor the banana boat, ringos and fly fish to about 80tl for the jet ski.the slides were great at the pool and great fun to go dowm especially on a lilo!this hotel exceeded our expectations and will definatly be returning soon.you definatly wont be dissapointed!! : ) ps a few tips:take enough mosquito repellant and bite relief as there is qute a few mosqutos but the dont spoil your holiday and also get some professional photos done at the hotel they are good value and brilliant memories! enjoy!!! ps jack said shame no one could beat him at ping pong ercan and yildan hehe!!! just back from a 2-week all inclusive holiday.hotel was wonderful with a great setting, whole place was full with trees and pink-violet-white coloured begonias.rooms were clean and spacious, not to mention the staff, although they were working very hard, they never lost their smile.there were 3 a la carte restaurants,we tried them out and the fish restaurant is highly recommendable.there are 2 pools, one with a slide and one beside the beach which is a bit smaller, but don't bother with the pools, cause the sea is a natural pool with the fish swimming beside you.we have been traveling to turkey since 4 years during the summer, but as this was the best hotel we have visited since our first trip,we will definitely go back next year.

Jul 2008, Mrs A Flint

we arrived at the hotel at 5 o`clock in the morning and didnt get off to a good start as after checking in we were taken to our room in the cab of a van meant for 2 passengers which means i was sitting over the handbreak and my daughters head was squashed against the windscreen! More disappointment was in store when we reached our room it was dark and dismal but worse than that was that it smelt the toilet was dirty there was mould growing all over the tiles in the bathroom and horrible looking brown stains on the floor. i went straight back to reception to complain and ask to be moved and was told to come back at 10 o`clock, which i did, the man on reception spoke very poor english was very rude and really didnt care that we were unhappy with our room,he told me there was no point moving us as it was a standard room and they were all the same! bar staff found it difficult to understand us and were unhelpful and rude infact my daughter wouldnt even go to the bar as it was such an unpleasant experience. All the entertainment was in turkish and all the music around both pools,we were the only two english guests at the hotel and i get the impression they are not used to having english guests as hardly any staff can speak english! Food was average buffet style but was very hard to find somewhere to sit.Impossible to get a sunbed at the beach area, difficult to get sunbed at the pool, and at night never anywhere to sit. One positive point was the excellent bus service into bodrum which we used frequently to escape the hotel in the evenings. What can i say do not go here if you are english!!!!!!!!

A quick brief:-want to feel awkward and unwelcome every second at the hotel? Go here...
*Hotel for Turkish only...we were 2 of 6 english people at the whole hotel!
*Rude Staff
*Entertainment in Turkish
*Small choice of food (although served alot)
*Poor location (although very good bus serivce)
*Poor cleanliness
***BORING***
We just arrived back from our holiday here a week ago....we decided to go having found a very good deal online and reading all the reviews is sounded fantastic! The others that wrote these reviews can't have been at the same hotel as us!?
So we arrive at our hotel an hour delayed and theres a problem as we don't have 'something' we apparently needed however the manager could not speak english and therefore we never found out what this was? They did not make a big deal of this though which was appreciated...we got shoved into a 2 seater 'pick up' van, im surprised I didnt suffer concussion as my head continuously hit the roof of the van as i was sitting on my mothers lap so we could fit in!
Anyway the driver did say sorry, which i think was the only english word he knew. So we're now at our room and it smells awful! Like someones been smoking 40 a day in there and never opened a window, now that would have been easy as there was only one tiny window that opened about 2". This therefore made it so unbelievably dark in there. Looked into the bathroom which was big but bare with mould and brown stains around the room and stains in the toilet (I will upload the pictures). The tap seemed to trickle when you wanted cold water and the actual shower was extremly hard to get to a standable temp. We asked to move immediatley and were told to come back in the morning as they were full, went back in the morning to be told all the rooms are the same and given the look as if they were thinking just f off!
So we gave up on moving after we had complained twice and after our rep complained as well and decided the room wasn't that bigger deal...every second of the trip we were stared at by the turkish people staying at the hotel and made to feel very awkward...we're not sure why? The staff could barely speak any english if any and we were made to feel a nuisance and unwelcome. There was only the two of us so we did feel a bit lonely as there really was no one else to talk to as we were 2 out of 6 english people at the hotel and the staff knew no english. The 'beach' is just a small area they have put sand onto and put steps into the sea...it is also not like the pictures as they have sold part of their 'beach' land on both sides to other hotels, which to be honest we would have rather been staying at.
When we were understood for some reason when they realised we were english speaking people from ENGLAND (shocking) we were funny? But not in a funny haha way as we hadnt even spoke it was just the fact we were english?
Health and safety would not be happy! The pool is very dangerous as they seem to find it hilarious to throw each other in the pool every second of the day and throw water over each other...i saw about 4 people slip over and finally on the last day as one of the entertainers got a bucket of water and threw it at the dart players beside the stairs one fairly old man slipped and fell all the way down the sharp steps and was rushed to the doctor/hospital. This pool was the best area of the hotel though(with the slides), i think this may be because it has been more newly built and there is a nice breeze here.
To conclude if you want a very independent holiday and a very quiet one at that (as bad location, bodrum is about 40 minute bus ride away and closest town is expensive, as all the rich turkish poeple go there), also pretty bad service, a bit of a butlins holiday then this to be honest this is the place to go...if you want friendly staff, to make some friends, good entertainment, easy walk elsewhere then avoid like the plague!
This hotel should simply not be available to the English.

What a wonderful holiday! We spent two weeks at this hotel and we were highly pleased therefore I wanted to express my opinion immediately. The sea is gorgeous, the staff is very friendly and always smiling (although the weather is hot, they never lose their patience, even with impatient and rude guests). The food has great variations and everything is very fresh and tasteful. We made friends at the hotel and their opinion was also the same. The grounds are a bit steepy so it wouldn't really be convenient for those who have problems with walking (unless you have a room near the pool). You can also eat at the a la carte restautants for free which are also very tasteful.Cleanliness of the hotel is also prima. What the hotel deserves is a great APPLAUSE!!

We arrived the first full week of the season so there were a few teething problems (no hot water, curtains missing, not enough towels) but these were all dealt with promptly by the wonderful customer relations manager Alev. Food was wonderful as was the service but the hotel was only about 30% full so could be different in high season.
Only fault with the hotel is that there is no separate dining area for non-smokers, a real problem when it is a family resort and there are a lot of young children around.
Note that the resort is on steep hill so if you have problems with walking not a good place to go.

Aug 2007, Mrs Elisabeth Schuch

I spent a gorgeous week with my family in Bodrum, Club Voyage Bodrum Village. We were all so pleased with the hotel, staff, food, sea and everything that I wanted to share my opinions through internet.
It is a really nice holiday village with lots of trees and bungalows where the rooms are quite spacious. The sea is beautiful and very clean. The only bothering thing is the music that they play on the beach, but that isn't whole day long.
The food is very very delicious and there are 3 a la carte restaurants, they are also included in the price and also superb. The staff is very friendly and always smiling and trying to be helpful. Although there are a lot of guests, you never see the tables in the restaurant with the empty dishes. Everything is spotlessly clean. The only thing that could be said is the hotel needs a bit renovation.
The hotel is about 20 min with dolmus from Bodrum and 10 min walking distance from Turkbuku which is a very popular place with lots of celebrities and luxury yachts. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Bodrum!

My family and I went back to this...

May 2007, Mrs C Heaps

My family and I went back to this hotel having previously visited in 2005.
The reason we came back again was because we were so impressed with the hotel, the facilities and the staff. In our opinion the hotel had rapidly declined in the space of 1 year.
Our bedroom was not properly cleaned all week (but hey, the cleaners left clean towels everyday that were shaped into fans!). I complained about it but our complaints were not really taken seriously, and I don't think they were really interested.
We were only 1 of 3 or so British families staying in the hotel, so the Rep wasn't really around to deal with things.
Whilst we can understand that August is a very busy month the restaurant staff were not geared up for the number of guests - they regularly ran out of clean plates and cutlery, and the dirty plates were not cleared away from the previous diners.
However, the food was very good with lots of variety. They also have two special restaurants that you are allowed one visit of each, the Turkish meal was spectacular.
The resort is quite remote, and there isn't anywhere really where you can go for a little walk. You do need to physically fit - the bedrooms are quite a trek away (steep hills too!) from the main reception and restaurants. This was exhausting when it was very hot.
The organised trips were good too, Turkey is a very beautiful country, but we won't be coming back to this hotel again.
