A Great Find
This hotel is a great find, thanks to fellow trip advisors. It is only 2 stars, but it is extremely clean and very pleasant, in a nice safe area, and extremely quiet. Hameau de Passy is located in a small courtyard off of a lovely shopping street, just 10 minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower, a few minutes' walk from two metros (Passy probably being the closest), and about 10 minutes' walk from an RER station. The rooms are quite small, but not ridiculously so. They are prettily decorated and the bathrooms (although small) look new.... more
Lovely little hotel
We stayed in this hotel for six nights. We were very happy with the hotel. Nice clean room. Friendly english speaking staff. Close to the metro and a good shopping centre. A lovely quiet hotel. The only downside was no air conditioned room which was tough in the paris heat. Overall an excellent little hotel. Highly recommended!
Quiet and relaxing
I chose this hotel online right before going to Paris to see the end of the Tour de France. This was my first trip to Paris and the hotel was such a pleasant surprise. It was quiet and small and I had a top floor room with a charming view of the courtyard. I found the staff helpful and the location convenient. I was traveling alone and felt totally secure. My room included a nice breakfast. I would definately stay there again.
Nice, clean hotel in quiet neighbourhood
We have just come back from a weekend in Paris. I must say Le Hameau de Passy was an excellent choice. The room was quite spacious, the bathroom very clean, there was plenty of room for storage, the beds were ok. Breakfast was typically French: a croissant, a bread roll and a small pain au chocolat and some marmalade. Coffee was good and strong. The breakfast room was a little cramped. Near metro La Muette we found an excellent restaurant called La Gare. They serve a 3 course dinner for € 35 and we loved it!
Ideal base for Paris
Booked this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and were extremely pleased with our choice. This was our first stay in Paris for some years and we wanted something comfortable, quiet and clean as we only intended to use it as a base. Rooms are small but so is price and they have all you need - bed, shower,WC etc. Breakfast is ideal start and runs from 0730 until 1030. The area the hotel is in is very convenient, 10 mins walk to Eiffel Tower and we could not decide which Metro station was closet, Passy or La Muette.<br... more
A hidden gem in Paris
Within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Residential neighborhood, large grocery store across the street. Rooms located in private, quiet courtyard. Good refuge from crowded Paris streets. Near subway Green Line to La Muette or Passy. Rooms are small and clean with private bath. Breakfast of fresh breads, pastries, coffee and juice. Have to leave key at front desk when you go out. $109 Euro/ni. Staff speak English. Cannot beat price or location, would highly recommend.
great little hotel
we loved this hotel the rooms were small and well maintained very clean and in a teriffic location i felt like i was a local as the cafes shops and eating places where first rate in this area the contonental breakfast was always superb as was the service, the only problam i had was with the tv it was perched so clorse to the cieling that it was difficult to watch .
Excellent Value, Good Location
This was our fifth stay in Paris. We wanted to be in a different area this time (we have been in the center locations previously like 6th). 16th district is high end residential area and has much more laid back atmosphere (non-touristy). Hotel is very, very quite. We stayed at the top floor which can accommodate upto 4 people, so there was a plenty of room for two. I think 130 and 230 are the largest, but other rooms are bit smaller like typical Paris two star hotels. Basic but great value. Very accommodating staff as well.
Great price, Reasonable Rooms
Stayed here in 2002 and I am returning in 2005. Rooms were clean and very quiet. Not in a tourist part of town, but close to shopping and the metro. Rooms were very small (even by paris standards), but bathrooms were reasonable in size. No elevator for floors above so no big bags. Best overall value in entire city (and I have stayed a lot of places). Adjustments required to say here: no big suitcases, smile and be pleasent to staff, get out of room by 10:00 a.m. for maid service. In other words, don't cause a fuss and you will get a... more
Fantastic little gem
I stayed at this little hotel in 1999. It has a fantastic ambience, wonderful breakfast and is very clean. Best of all it is close to the Metro and is very cheap. Well worth the visit!!
