Booked a family room (2Adults + 2Children) for a half-term weekend break, we were given a suite with 1 x Double with interconecting door to adjoining twin + 2 bathrooms all for £74p.n. including breakfast excellent value. Hotel a bit tired and staff slightly quirky! Only 15 mins to Ironbridge museums. Lovely setting in the shadow of the Wrekin, I`m sure would be even nicer in the summer although narrow roads may get busy.

A tired hotel in need of some TLC. Musty smelling bedroom probably due to the lack of opening windows - merely a sliding patio door unlikely to opened on a regular basis.
Service in the restaurant was extremely slow and disorganised and I cannot make my mind up whether this was due to incompetence or disillusionment. However, compliments to the chef as when the dinners arrived, the taste matched the good presentation. Although the breakfast can only be described as average and certainly not a full English!
Guests were left waiting for tables to be re-set, and for breakfast cereals, juices etc to be replenished, for up to 15 minutes and orders being lost and mixed up along the way!
