The Hotel is in a great location close to the many sites in Florence as well as over the road from the railway station making access by train appealing.
The room was average size with good bathroom. Bed was comfortable and there was CNN on the TV. No bar fridge or Coffee making facilities. The window was shuttered so it was quiet (necessary as there is a bus stop at the door).
Breakfast was a good continental buffet served in a pleasant room. The staff were friendly and professional providing maps and information (their recommendation of and directions to a great gellataria were spot on -great ice cream in a back street shop that would have been difficult to just come across).
I would recommend this one and stay there again.

A comfortable clean hotel within 7 minutes of il Duomo. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful in pre-booking tickets for the museums.
Although the area around the station is somewhat seedy at no time did we feel unsafe or threatened in anyway and my wife and myself are both pensioners.
An added hotel bonus is free use of the Internet.
