Real Parque Hotel

I've just stayed at the Hotel Real Parque (Av. Luis Bivar 67) in Lisbon for a long weekend and I could not recommend this hotel enough! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean, quiet and an excellent buffet breakfast (inc. in the price) with a great choice of meats, cheesees, juices, scrambled eggs, bread, coffee, tea etc. The rooms are roomy (so are the bathrooms, I'm 5"7 and I could lie flat in the bath), the TV has 32 channels including BBC Prime and World, CNN and the usual suspects plus MTV and VH1. I've booked this hotel on Expedia and I get a great price, about 70% off the normal rate. The hotel is close Parque Eduardo VII attraction. The closest metro stations are Saldanha and St.Sebastiao. Arriving from the airport you will be leaved in Saldanha square at about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The St. Sebastiao metro station is under a big commercial center where you can buy anything and is perfect as base to move around the city (wonderful!!). Superb accomodation in a quiet location just 3 metro stops off the centre of Lisbon. Our double room (65 Euro booked through Expedia) was newly restuctured and spacious. The reception staff were both knowledgeable and helpful. A very good breakfast was included in our rates. Sincerely I can't suggest a better hotel for such a price!

We chose this hotel in Lisbon on the basis of the reviews on this site for a three night break with my mother in March. Yes the hotel is well served by public transport and convenient for the centre, although the hotel itself we found not up to our expectations. We had to change my mother's room as not only was it very small it also had the added benefit of noise from the building site below and the generator outside. We stayed 5 days in the beautiful city of Lisbon. Although this hotel is not right in the city centre it is very good located. Only a small walk to the metro and within minutes you are right in the middle of Lisbon. The staff was helpfull and the breakfast was nice. Our room was located on the 10th floor and we had a great view over the city. The price of the room was very good. Note: Don't go back by bus to the airport but take a taxi. It will cost you only about 80 eurocent extra!!!

The hotel is located in quite area in Lisbon but subway station is only 5 minutes far. And with subway you can reach to the city center easily. Even if you enjoy walking, it takes around 25 minutes. Room generally was good. Only blankets were not very usefull and pay tv was not working. But we were satisfield with the room. Staffs were helpfull and polite. Breakfasts generally good. And the price was very suitable for its conditions.

Having checked out the reviews on Trip Advisor, we stayed at the Real Parque Hotel, Lisbon for 3 nights (15th Oct 2005). Found that the hotel lived up to reputation of a great 4* hotel for a long weekend in the city. Good choice for breakfast, rooms clean & tidy & in a quiet location which was 5 minute walk from San Sebastio metro station. Would definitely recommend!

At first you may feel hotel is a little way out of centre,but it is 4 minutes from metro that connects you to everywere.hotel on a quiet corner rooms very nice above average size.Hotel staff all speak english always very helpfull.They did not recommend there own restaurant, but it is very good,not cheap, but worth a try as the few restaurants surrounding it are expensive.There is a local tapas bar worth a try.Breakfast ok would go back

My sister and I just returned from a week stay in this hotel. The staff was excellent and hotel was nice. Great value. A quick walk to train that takes you into the center of Lisbon. You could walk if you wanted to. If you are traveling to Lisbon for more than 3 days have side trips planned. We were looking for things to do after day 2.

We had driven to Lisbon and were hot, tired, a bit ill and stressed with traffic jams. Our booking was at the sister hotel (Real Residencia) but on arrival we were informed of the change of hotel (booking mix up). The Residencia receptionist was very helpful and invited us in for refreshments before explaining exactly how to find the Real Parque.
