The Snooty Fox Hotel

We stayed for two nights and wished we hadn't. We thought we would treat ourselves to a de-luxe room. First impression of our room was o.k. in a tired country chintzy sort of way, but before long could see that the room was grubby - there were bits of rubbish left by previous occupants under the bedside tables, there was dust, a dirty wardrobe and mirror and the bathroom and bedroom could have done with a good update. Visited the Snooty Fox for the Bank Holiday weekend, the four poster room was large, fantastically decorated and everything we hoped for. The food was of an extremely high standard served in a pleasant and frendly environment. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful when it came to selection of the wines, making recommendations to compliment our meals. Nothing was too much the staff and I couldn't fault the weekend. Will definately visit again.
