Three Ways House Hotel reviews

Aug 2011, middle aged couple Reading Berkshire

We attended the pudding club which was a lovely evening and would thoroughly recommend it. Staff were very friendly and everywhere was exceptionally clean. We were there to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary so booked the chocolate suite as supposed to be the best in... more

Lively vibrant hotel worth its 3 AA stars
The Hotel is in an attractive location, nice and rural but handy for Stratford and other centres. The reception staff were helpful, arranged for someone to take my luggage to my room and booked a taxi for me. My room was small, but it was a single, perfectly adequate and tastefully furnished. The Hotel has a bar area, lounge where papers are provided for guests to read, a small library, and a restaurant. There is also a garden area for eating and relaxing. It was clear from the moment I arrived that this is a professionally run... more
The worst hotel of our three week trip in England
On this trip, we feel that we paid the most money for the least value at the Three Ways House Hotel in Mickleton. We had originally booked a standard room, but when we saw the tiny size, we decided to upgrade to a larger room. The larger room had a beautiful view from the window, but the room was in desperate need of refurbishment, and it was somewhat dirty. The food in the restaurant was substandard compared to the quality of the food that we enjoyed during the rest of our vacation. Except for one woman, the staff was remote and unhelpful... more
A 'pud-tastic' weekend
We really enjoyed our walking weekend at the Three Ways House Hotel which included a Pudding Club dinner on the Friday night, an 11-mile guided walk on the Saturday followed by a three-course dinner in the evening and finally a 9-mile guided walk on the Sunday. The price for all this was £240 per person. More than we'd usually pay, but this was a special birthday treat. We stayed in one of the pudding-themed rooms, the Spotted Dick and Custard Room. This spacious and immaculate room with a firm king size bed and ensuite bath... more
Pudding Club fun
I stayed one night at this hotel with my husband and 8 friends specifically for a Pudding Club evening. We all booked superior rooms and 2 couples stayed in themed rooms. Our room was average size, well decorated with good quality curtains. However, I was not overly impressed with the cleanliness of the floor in the bathroom and the towelling robes were quite stiff and definitely past their fluffy best. The bed itself was quite hard and the bedding was quite oppressive - (blankets, not duvet). The pillows were not comfortable and we were... more
Pudding Heaven
I stayed at The Three Ways Hotel with my boyfriend to go to a Pudding Club meeting after I bought it for him as a christmas present. We were staying in the brilliant Spotted Dick and Custard Pudding Themed Room. The Pudding Club was a fantastic night, even if I still can't face the slight of a pudding yet! The puddings were great and attending a meeting has got to be a must for all of those with a sweet tooth. I think it is safe to say that we will be back! The room was stayed in was great. It was well worth the extra expense just for the... more
Home of The Pudding Club!
The Three Ways House Hotel is the home of the Pudding Club, and we were there for a Pudding Club meeting. We stayed in a Pudding theme room (the Oriental Ginger Room), which was comfortable and not too overly themed, which we liked. The hotel is a nice, old-fashioned, comfortable English country hotel, with discreet modern features like an elevator living alongside narrow, winding hallways and huge bathtubs. A great base for exploring the Cotswolds. And please do try to attend a Pudding Club meeting if you can - it's a blast.
