We stayed at the Cala Di falco Apartments, behind the hotel, self catering, with its own separate shared pool, wonderfully peaceful, as families stayed at the main hotel. Sparrows come and feed from your hands, and food traders come and sell their wares, as you sit outside on the balcony.
Town had very reasonable restaurants, with excellent Italian food. Peaceful setting, though the town has a few bars and clubs for the younger set, the apartments are far enough away (several hundred yards) that you don't hear a thing.
Not a 'full of activities' place, unless you like Scuba diving. But plenty of places around, if you hire a car but excellent place if you just want to enjoy each other.
Diving is typical Mediterranean rock formations, but if weather is good, the archipeligo has large groupers.

Great hotel with good facilities and location. Staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable.
Luckily we had a villa within the hotel grounds so we had the best of both worlds, high standard accommodation with peace and quiet but with access to all the hotel facilities. The only problem was a shortage of loungers by the pool and not enough parasols so that by 9.30 am there were towels on all the loungers, the British were by no means the worst culprits for this.
Unfortunately we were conned by the restaurant next door to the hotel, called La Risecca (completely separate from the hotel) who charged us 350 euros for a very ordinary meal for 4 and gave us food poisoning! Not such a great end to the holiday.

Have just returned from a really enjoyable family holiday at this hotel. My 5 year old twins felt completely at home in the pleasant hotel surroundings; and the general atmosphere of the hotel is ideally suited for families or adults. We were in a family suite although we did not get the promised sea view. However the suite was very comfortable, and it worked out well as we overlooked the attractive children’s pool, which the boys loved.
Half board was included, and we were very impressed with the both the standard of meals (4 course), and the level of service from the staff. The service in the hotel generally was very good, and we had no complaints of any description. Excellent value all round.
Cannigione itself is quite a pleasant little resort with a few pleasant bars and restaurants for snacks etc. The harbour is not particularly nice, and you will need to travel to Porto Cervo and Baia Sardinia to get sophistication and smart shops etc.
Overall a thoroughly pleasant holiday. We would definitely use Key 2 holidays again.

The complex had plenty of amenities and was clean and well kept and situated in a convenient location.
The only negative was that the restaurants in cannigione were either cheap and cheerful or very expensive and we could not find a lasagne or spaghetti bowl anywhere!! The one next door to the complex was extremely expensive and nothing special, costing us over £130.00 for four small main dishes and a couple of drinks watch out!
We hired a car for the day which was hair raising the roads treacherous and the Italians drive very very fast, but it was worth it to get about as the buses only run every three hours and are small and crowded.
We were very impressed with Just Sardinia and would recommend them as the transfers were punctual and the rep friendly and helpful.
