Booked online for this hotel for an Easter break, on arrival discovered we had been put in a double smoking room, which absolutely reeked, so complained and were moved to a twin room! Complained again and were finally moved to a non-smoking double, phew! The staff tried to be very helpful during this but the receptionist couldn't speak much English, finally we were given complimentary drinks at the bar to compensate.
The actual hotel facilities were good, there was a great buffet breakfast selection of hot and cold food, some which could be cooked to order.
The gym and swimming pool were in good condition and clean, although the steam room was broken and they had run out of towels so we had to go back and get our room towels.
Overall a mixed experience but would probably return as in a very good location, just outside the city with park and ride in walking distance so didn't have to spend a fortune on parking.

Arrived in Oxford in late afternoon as the first leg of a road trip around England and Wales.
Hotel is outside of Oxford city but is right next to a park and ride station which was really convenient. Check in was nice and quick and friendly. Very helpful with our 18 month old son.
Room was very clean and nicely laid out. A short walk had us at the park and ride station for a short trip into the heart of Oxford and back again.
Breakfast the next morning was buffet style with lots of choice and staff a plenty to look after your needs and pour the coffee. Were able to leave the car in the car park and go into the city again without any problems. Nice newish hotel and friendly staff.
