Atlas Group consists of three very different properties - the only common feature being a shared swimming pool. Although the star rating appears to be the same for all three, Kapelos Yannis is substantially different from the other two - the rooms are small, dark and cramped, with no outlook, and far older. They are under individual ownership, with no shared management.
Kapelos Yannis is nothing like the advertising pictures shown, which are the Atlantida apartments, and more like "village rooms". I don't really consider Kapelos Yannis "apartments" as suitable for a family. The others (Atlantida and Maroulia) are. Kapelos Yannis doesn't feature in any of the pictures you can find.
In the event, we were able to transfer to Maroulia apartments which, as a previous reviewer has said, was simple and a bit old fashioned in decor and equipment, but with a large main room, good bathroom and kept spotlessly clean by the maid every day. The shared pool is good and well maintained, but not very private.
They are close to the beach and conveniently located for other facilities.
Since they are marketed as a "group", I would avoid Atlas Group, since you don't know what you'll get and you may well be disappointed.

Stayed in 'Maroulia' which was a small block of apartments surrounded by gardens. The room was simple as would be expected in Greece but pretty with lace curtains and spotlessly clean. The furniture was pine and comprised of one double and one single bed, bedside cabinets and a dining table and chairs in the main area. A separate kitchen with fridge, sink and two ring hob. The bathroom was fully tiled and had a shower curtain!
There was also a pool with a view, which in May when I was there was deserted so I had it all to myself. This was in contrast to some of the larger apartment blocks used by large tour operators that had people lined up in rows around their pools.
It is only a few minuets stroll to the beach, shops and restaurants of the resort. There is also a regular bus service to Fira from where you can catch connecting buses around the island.
If you can't afford the prices of Fira or Firostefani then this is a good alternative way of visiting Santorini.

When we arrived we could not find anyone that spoke English. We did find a lady who said she was Bulgarian and she showed us to our apartment. It was down four steps and very dark and bare. We went to explore the resort which we found to be very pleasant. On our return I went to look for the Bulgarian lady who, by then, had realised we were in the wrong accommodation (Atlantida) and then gave us a piece of paper with Maroullia written on it, but she could not tell us which apartment was ours. By chance a young lady was passing and she used her mobile to try and help us. Within 5 minutes a young girl, aged about 7, arrived with a key and showed us to another apartment. It was very basic but in comparison to the first one we were showed it was much better. The maid came in daily but only emptied the bins. On the 5th day I had to wait for the maid as we had not had clean towels since we arrived and the bedding was not changed at all. We did enjoy the holiday because there are some lovely restaurants and the people are very friendly it was just a shame that we felt the accommodation was poor.
