The Aeolis apartments were lovely. They are scattered down a steep slope facing towards the sea so that everyone gets a sea view.
They were very clean and well maintained. Molyvos is a beautiful area and once you get to the town it is stunning! It is quite a steep area so is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties, but for those lucky enough to walk to the top of the hill and go into the rooftop restaurants, the view is never to be forgotten.
All the tourists in Lesvos are centered in a small area of the island so the island has never been spoiled like some of the others with too many touristy gimmicks. It is well worth a visit to Mytilini as it is one of the most beautiful capitals in Greece. It is set around a huge harbour and has lots of lovely shops and tavernas.
Even the airport, for me anyway, is the best as it is right next to the sea, the only downside to Lesvos is the lack of tourist accommodation, so it is very hard to find unless you book early in the year. But that is also what makes it unique amongst Greek islands.
