This hotel wasn't situated in an ideal situation, being just outside Portsmouth city centre, but was fine for the one night we stayed there. The room was basic, but clean and well looked after.
In the morning, we bought two of their breakfast bags. They were quite expensive, but you did get quite a lot of food for your money. It was worthwhile for us to buy them as we had quite a long drive home afterwards.
I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you travel there by car; however it could be tricky to reach it if not. Portsmouth is a great city to explore- lots of culture, history, and shopping. If you're looking for a budget hotel on the outskirts of the city, then this hotel will be perfect for you.

Stayed in Portsmouth Travelodge for 2 nights, Never again ! We had no hot water since we arrived , The staff was very unhelpful and each time we complained about the problem we werent given the option to change rooms and they keep blaming someone else, When we finally got the hot water turned on it was near time for us to leave
Stay away !
