Spent 3 days here with my wife in June using the hotel as a base for visiting Portsmouth and environs and the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The hotel is located to the North of Portsmouth (10-15 minutes drive traffic permitting) and is close to the motorway. The area is effectively a retail park with Tescos and Pizza Hut close at hand, but is fairly characterless as is the hotel. The bar is effectively the reception area.
The hotel seemed modern, clean and fresh; the staff were friendly but the room was fairly basic and noise levels from the nearby roads quite high if the windows were open although air conditioning was available. Overall an ok hotel but not memorable.
