" This is the best holiday... "

This is the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. We are a family with two daughters aged 13 and 8 and we all loved this place. the complex has two large outdoor pools, an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, gymnasium, yoga classes, pool side bar/restaurants with lovely food, full restaurant - you need never leave the resort –
BUT Luz village and beach are is only five minutes walk away, charming little streets, lots of restaurants and fab sandy beach. AND IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH.... Lovely Lagos town (free bus from Estrela) is nearby, and down the coast are some really wild surfing beaches. We will definitely be back!!! You can book with Oceanico resorts or directly with owners, as we did, which is better value. Just search on holiday rentals or holiday lettings sites.
Our apt was south-facing and overlooked the pools, and you also had a view of the sea. Perfect. Enjoy!!

Would definitely go again and recommend to others. Ten minute walk (downhill) to the beach where beds/shade can be hired for as little as twelve Euros (two beds and one shade). Large supermarket nearby too.
Lovely village, not over developed and not too commercial either.
