If you EVER consider going there don't. It really is Faulty Towers, yet they charge £147 per room for ONE night. We have just come back from there. The room was tiny; the place stank; the wallpaper was peeling and the ceiling was leaking (In the room and downstairs). The pool was filthy, the bed linen was stained, the breakfast was mediocre the staff were dour to say the least. If you fancy a drink in the bar then be prepared for a tight squeeze, it seats about eight people !
I would expect to pay no more than very average B&B rates to stay there but they charged £147 for ONE night. Having researched the local B&B's afterwards (We wanted a one off special night away) the average rate is £38 per night. That, in my opinion, would make the MOORHILL HOUSE HOTEL £99 per night overpriced.

The place is run down and tatty. They charged us £135 for one night so my expectations were pretty high, but they failed to meet the standards of the cheapest B&B I have ever stayed at (at £22 per person per night).
Bedroom was small and had a tiny TV which received only the four basic channels (with interference).
Breakfast was very bland, the sausage must have come from the 'value' range !
If you want my advice go to an independant B&B in the area.
