Fountain Hotel

My husband and I stayed at the Fountain Hotel last week. We booked directly with Old English Inns getting a teriffic buy one night get one night free offer, total cost £90 for two nights for 2 people bed and breakfast A bargain! We went to the Fountain Inn for 2 nights on 10th & 11th July. We managed to book the hotel for £50 per room per night on laterooms.com, which is a lot less than the standard room rates on their own site. On arrival, we realised that the nearest car park was approx qtr/half mile away uphill. This wasn't a problem for us, but could be a struggle for elderly or disabled guests. The next time I go to the Isle of Wight - The Fountain Hotel will be the place for me to stay. Sure my room over looked the High St and there was some noise but apart from that the hotel is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and the level of customer service is amazing. They really know how to treat customers. I spent 3 nights at this Hotel and enjoyed my stay very much.The hotel is situated at the very centre of Cowes which at times was quite noisy but the location and food made up for this!! A car park closer by would also have been a benefit. Very polite staff who make you very welcome
