Just back from our holiday first time...
10 / 10
May 2008, Terrie

Just back from our holiday first time in turkey,we were a little concerned when we read some of the reveiws about the Efes Inn.
On arrival we were greated by Tao, we knew straight away we were going to like him and the hotel, what a lovely man.
We were given the keys to our room, nice size room, when i opened the sliding doors to the balcony, wow was my first words the view was fab, and i soon forgot the two half hour coach transfer from the airport to hotel.
All the staff at the Efes Inn were great very friendly, cant remember all their names (they remember everyone's name which puts us to shame) i do remember Eddie and Russell nothing is to much trouble.
The cleaners were lovely very pleasant and eager to please.

If you have never been....... Go as soon as you can

May 2008, Mrs J Bratt

We stay at the Hotel efes inn twice a year and have done for the past twelve years the manager and all the staff are like family to us, every body is always made to feel welcome by all the staff from the minuet you arrive till sadly you have to say goodbye, weather it's your first time there or your 25th.
We love it so much we are going again in June for a month this time, we will celebrate our annivversary of 46 years on the 23rd June.
The reception desk manager Teoman is very friendly and always there to help with you're every need to make sure you make the most of your stay.
Nothing is to much trouble for the wonderful happy smiling maids who clean the rooms, fresh linen and towels changed daily.
The beach bar restaurant has fantastic food and Safac is a very good chef also you must try the leg of lamb , the beach bar staff are amazing we have some very good night's entertainment in there.
The pool and surrounding area also very clean and there are plenty sunbeds, the Hotel is right on the beach with it's own area of the beach.

Apr 2008, Miss J.C Cakebread

I Went To Turkey Last Year With My Parents And My Sister And My Brother And We Have Stayed In That Hotel About 3 Times Before But The Air-Con Only Worked Early In A Morning And Late At Night. The Staff Were Very Pleasant But They Weren't The Same Staff Which Let Me Down Abit As The Other Staff That Were They Before Were Really Kind And It Just Wasn't The Same Without Them.My Brother And Dad Ended Up Taking A Trip To The Hospital As The Chlorine In The Pool Gave Them Both An Infection And We Had To Go In The Pool At The Golmar Because Their Water Is Natural Spring Water.
I Had A Great Time But It Was Just Not What I Was Expecting.

Mar 2008, Mrs S Kershaw

Me and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon with our 2yr old daughter and i wouldnt stay here again. Our room wasn,t very clean, the fridge was broke and it took the staff over a week to sort a new one out and also the aircon wasn,t working which is not very good when we have a 2yr old child with us also the food for our breakfast wasnt very nice my daughter had some milk and cereals for her breakfast and she was ill because the milk was off and my husband was ill when he eat his breakfast so we had to eat out after that. The hotel did seem nice when we first arrived but when we got the room we was not very happy at all. The staff was very friendly but sadly not helpfull and the entertainment was good maybe we got a wrong room or we went at the wrong time or something. Its a shame because i really love turkey so we will be going back but not with this hotel.

Dec 2007, Mr S,j Hole

Mr & Mrs Hole, we have been coming to the Efes Hotel for the last 6 years and are booking again for 2008 for 2 weeks. The staff will go the whole hog to make sure you have a good time at this hotel, very very clean rooms and the food is good in the hotel. There is lots of places to eat out if you want to and lots of trips to go on, also they have a part of the beach for the Efes Hotel customers and good fishing on the beach and best of all they remember you from last years holidays.

Second time we have stayed at Efes...

Dec 2007, Mrs J Woodall

Second time we have stayed at Efes Inn. The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the beach and sea. When we went this year, we emailed Teo and asked him for a sea view room and bless his heart, he gave us one.
The guys at Efes at wonderful. Sidyck with his terrible jokes and tricks (watch out for the spoons) and Mehmet, his younger brother - what a lovely genuine man who cannot do enough for you. Then there's Eddie, the hotel hunk and Ramsay - who sometimes looks bleary eyed from a late night out the night before.
I cannot fault the staff or the service in this hotel, the only problem is with the air conditioning. When we went in 2006 it was adequate, but when we went in 2007 and there was a heat wave (50 degree the second week we were there) the rooms were unbearable and it was very difficult to sleep. It is for this reason, and no other, that we are looking for somewhere else to stay in 2008 because it did spoil our holiday a little as we got little or no sleep for almost a week.
If they upgraded the aircon, I would have no doubt but to go back there. Even if you don't stay there, pop in for a drink you will be made most welcome. If you walk along the sea front (where the main road stops right at the end as you reach the beach) turn left and walk along the promenade, pass the Joy Munamar, over the little bridge and Efes Inn is the next hotel along. Tell Mehmet or Sidyck that Joan and Tony (or Joanne as Sidcyk calls me) from Derby sent you and give them our love.
It may be a 3* hotel but you are treated like royalty.

My husband and I took our daughter...

Dec 2007, Mrs S  Baird

My husband and I took our daughter back to this lovely hotel this year for the second time. We went in 2006 for the first time with my parents who have now being going to Icmeler and the Efes for 8 or 9 years in a row!
The location is beautiful and the hotel was clean, rooms a little small but met our needs as a family. The one and only downside to this hotel is the air conditioning. Which is a pity because if it was upgraded which I believe it is being for 2008 the hotel would be perfect! However they also told us that last year that it would be done this year and my parents have been told this in previous years, so we'll wait and see! Nevertheless my parents have booked again to go for 3 weeks in Aug/Sept 2008. We may also return again in 2009 with our pending new addition to the family.
The bar staff were so helpful and family focused with lots of work and effort put into their entertainment nights (Turkish night/BBQ etc). Mehment, Sedik, Eddie and the team help make the holiday and are full of useful advice and help if you need it whilst there.
Keep up the good work.

Oct 2007, Mr DG Knight

Stayed at the Efes Inn for the first time and found that the staff were very friendly. Would like to thank Eddie and Mehmet who made us very welcome. Accommodation was very good and the service excellent. The Turkish night which they put on was great. Have booked for next year and are hoping to meet up with Eddie and Mehmet again. The pool area was very good and safe and the restaurant/bar facilities were very good also.
I found the Efes Inn value for money and would recommend it to anyone.

Sep 2007, Miss C Dixon

When we first arrived we thought it was a little small and were not sure this small hotel would be for us. WRONG! We had a fantastic 10 days holiday and the hotel is fantastic.
Although the rooms are slightly small, the actual hotel is great. The pool restaurant has fantastic food and the staff are amazing. We ate at our hotel more often than not due to the quality of food and service.
Icmeler is lively and the position of the hotel is faultless as it is right on the beach front and with a minutes walking distance to the bars and restaurants.
I would definitely go back to this hotel; you are made to feel right at home!
