This hotel should really be closed down! We were shown 3 different rooms and all had problems! The first had no lights, the second dirty with no windows and the third had soiled stains on the bed sheets. No surprise to say we asked for our money back and left. I think this happens quite a lot as the receptionist did not put up a fight and knew code for refund without looking it up!
A hotel inspector needs to go to this hotel and do a spot check so it can be closed down ASAP for health and safety of everyone!

Occupying a good location on the East Cliff this hotel is at the end of its shelf life. While I was staying here it was announced in the local press that Bournemouth has enjoyed a 17% increase in hotel trade in the last year. Well it will not maintain or exceed that good news based on the standards set by this establishment.
The reception area, lounge bar and dining room are all quite nice and presentable but the bedroom I was put in was unacceptable.
Bathroom was dirty, toilet waste connection leaked onto the floor and the bath had rust around the waste outlet. Quite disgusting and just not good enough for a large 3 star hotel.
Also there is no internet access at all which in this day and age is very poor.
Don't say you have not been warned!

This place had a nice forecourt. The staff were friendly. The hotel has seen better days and the room decor is dated. Despite this, the room was massive and the rates were very reasonable.
The hotel is ideally situated for the beach but you do have to wind your way down the side of the cliff (don't panic, there is a path). If I remember correctly they allow dogs too. Breakfast was pretty good too.
