Uncomfortable

Stayed here for one night only thankfully. The positives first: Ample car parking, helpful staff and large bedrooms. The negatives: uncomfortable beds, small bathroom - our bedroom had condensation problems resulting in soaking wet nett curtains, small TV without cable and the room was cold as the radiator was not working properly.
Excellent breakfast selection

Room fine except for the hairdryer which would only stay on for 30 seconds at a time. Reception and Bar Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast selection and staff were excellent. The BUT was the price and quality of the bar food; one meal was almost inedible because of its tastlessness; the second was thrown together. Marred the business stay for me.
Great business wing, making working form home a little more comfortable

I stayed in room 77 in the new executive’s wing for 3 nights in Nov 07. The room is big and comes with a huge desk and printer. There is a flat screen TV and a slim line DVD planer. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed slept in (besides my own). The carpets are new thick and bouncy. Food is good quality and the dinner staffs are attentive. This is hotel I would recommend to companies and travellers.
Excellent location and good for business

Location half a mile off the A373 and within 10 mins walk of the town make this a good stop for business and pleasure. I use this hotel a lot for business meetings, facilities are very good and the staff are excellent nothing is any trouble to them. Food and public areas are fine. Have only stayed over once and my room was only average - a bit to much like a travel lodge.
A Very nice hotel

Stayed over for one night on route to South Devon. Easy parking in a spacious car park and just a 10 minute walk to town. The room was really nice and overlooked the gardens and the nearby river. It was a good size with one single and one King bed and had been recently refurbished. We had dinner in the restaurant the meals were very good and reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was also very good with a good selection. The staff were all very efficient and freindly. The only black spot was that the fire alarm went off...

Great place to work, rest and play

As a regular business customer of the hotel, I've always found service to be excellent and my requests handled consistently promptly and with great flexibility - which is why I chose to entertain a visiting friend here, for what was indeed a very enjoyable stay for both of us. A Real Surprise

I had not stayed in a Best Western before and was really suprised at how brilliant it was. Imagine a Travel Lodge room...and increase its size, decor and general condition and you have a BW Hotel. Food was EXCELLENT. The service was EXCELLENT....and fully recommended. The lounge area is very comfortable. Complaints....a small one........I was woken at 0130 by several cars in the car park sounding their horns....but this was minor and would certainly not put me off staying here or other Best Western Hotels<br...

Friendly, clean, efficient

Recently I had the opportunity to stay at the Tiverton Best Western and came away with a pleasant experience. It's not a luxury hotel so anyone expecting that will be disappointed. It is, however, a very efficient, clean and well run establishment. I've stayed at a variety of Best Westerns throughout my life and can honestly say that the Tiverton is a very nice one. A 1970s structure on the main road into Tiverton, a few minutes walk from the town centre, this hotel has very much the look-and-feel of the ‘Posthouse’ hotels of yore. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and appears to be in good order throughout. Its core business is the business traveller and its business & meeting facilities are heavily used. It was Groovy then, but dated now

I stayed here whilst visiting a client in Exeter. I never seem to find a room in Exeter and there was no room at the Travel Inn, so I thought I'd try this place. I booked a Busness Class room as nobody could tell me what the difference was between this type of room or an Exectuive room other than the price, but apparently they are in the new exectuive wing. The Best Western Tiverton Hotel has invested extensively in a complete refurbishment programme. An initial 20 bedrooms along with the Reception area Lounge and Gallery Restaurant were the first to be completed and provide a warm welcoming environment. Since December 2005 a further 40 bedrooms have been completed including 12 that have been upgraded to an Executive Standard. The Executive rooms have a purpose built writing desk and leather chair, flat screen TV with DVD, electric power showers, complimentary use of a bath robe and newspaper. All our bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and are non smoking . All areas of the hotel now has free WiFi high speed internet access. The Best Western Tiverton Hotel provides a friendly efficiently run hotel that sits comfortably within its 3 star rating. Come and see for yourself!
