Perle Resort Hotel & Health Spa

I found the Perle through the Octopustravel website. The place was fantastic. The accomodations were definitely 5 star. The rooms were large and overlooked the sea. The food was great and the staff could not have been more helpful. They even let us stay past the checkout time. I would definitely go back!

We have just returned from a week here. Firstly i would say that the reception, restaurant are brilliant and the facilities for young kids is very good. We took our toddler (20 months) and the air conditioned creche and indoor pool were a godsend to get out of the heat. The food was very good but I would image might become a bit too repetitive for 2 weeks (we went half board). The rooms are 5 star for Greece but probably 3+ by UK standards - although exceptionally clean (moped floors every day etc) No robes and replenished cosmetics though... more

Not a 5 star hotel, but that may explain why the price is so low. The room is very basic and without a lot of the promised amenities. No robes, no fruit, shampoo not replenished daily. The food is buffet but the quality is very good. The location is fantastic, very remote. Need a car. Spa is quite expensive and treatments I took did not last the specified time, I felt short-changed. It was an enjoyable experience but hardly the promised 5-star luxury.

We stayed at this hotel the period from the 6th till the 13th of August 2005. We had a bungalow with sea view and HB. The location of the hotel is great with terrific view of the sea but it is far from Chania town. I would say about 17km, and you have to drive ½ hour at least through small villages in narrow roads to get there. The room was nice and the food was great. My husband and I trawled the internet for a 5 star hotel in which we could enjoy our honeymoon and eventually stumbled across Perle. We had a really good look at their website and found out as much as we could before booking through lastminute. Before we booked my husband emailed the hotel and informed them we were intending to book, and as it was our honeymoon could they secure us a seaview, or perhaps something 'special' (you don't ask you don't get). Perle Hotel We stayed here for a week in June 2005. The first thing to say about this place is that it is a fantastic bargain (we paid something like £500 pp for week, half-board, including flights from the UK) and everything that follows has to be read in that light. The second thing to say is that this is no architectural gem and could never be described as a Hip Hotel. I was also on that troublesome military flight that was supposed to go to Kuwait. I got to stay at the Perley resort and I must say it was the most incredible hotel. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who would want to come to Crete.

This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review of a hotel having used this site for quite some time. The Perle Resort provided myself and my wife with a fantastic 2 weeks vacation. The hotel staff were extremly helpful even providing us with a secluded table and free bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary. Fantastic! Spent a week here in September 2003. This is a relatively new stylish hotel and provides a nice alternative to more typical mass tourism/package hotels in Crete. The rooms were very nice and many have nice views facing the sea. Lovely outdoor pool and an indoor pool as well. Very good service in the spa/beauty treatment center. The hotel restaurant quality was average - you are better off driving into Chania or down the road to local tavernas for more variety and better quality. This is the scenario. I was flying from Baltimore to Kuwait. The airplane I was on had numerous maintenannce problems. By the time we reached Crete the airplane needed a part that they didn't have. This problem stranded us in Crete for 2 nights. These two nights I got to spend at the Perle. I think we arrived to the hotel at 10PM. They were nice enough to provide us with a meal.
