Comfort Inn Arundel Hotel

Good value, staff very helpful, & friendly. Beds comfortable and linen very clean, Hospitality tray well stocked. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice. The only thing that I felt that let my room down was the occasional chairs, they looked and smelt dusty, The rooms are comfortable but very hot this time of year, ceiling fan would be good. I had a small complaint with one of my meals which the manager dealt with quickly and profetionaly. overall very good.

Me and a few friends stayed here for a night 29th June 2008. We had a party close by and this was a place to crash for the evening. We arrived to a pleasant lobby area and bar. The room we'd booked wasn't available so we had to make do with an alternative. The check-in staff were nice. The room was awful. - Cobwebs - Mould - Dirty Bedding - and a smelly carpet. Pretty standard stuff really. Good sized room but in desperate need of a makeover. Shower was very powerful but bathroom mouldy on the ceiling and very harsh lighting everywhere. For £60 a night I guess you can't expect much but our room was obviously an old 'smoking' room as it smelt horrid. Comfy bed and good check in and out. I would definately choose a travelodge over this next time though!

We stayed two nights at The Comfort Inn, Arundel. Check-in was a breeze and we quickly found our room. The room was quite comfortable and reasonably spacious and we found the view of the rabbits on the grass below very entertaining. Niggles about the room? The "interactive TV" was not. The remote control differed wildly for the one illustrated in the laminated mount for it, which advertised films we could not see. The Comfort Inn is situated at a service station a couple of miles outside of Arundel. I would best describe the Comfort Inn as functional. The setting is not great and definately not for a special occassion. The rooms however are spacious (I have had far smaller rooms in 3 and 4 star hotels) and surprisingly very quiet. Our room was at the back and looked out onto a grassy bank. There is a bar and restaurant with a fairly limited menu.
