We spent two almost blissful weeks at the Voyage Torba and the overall experience was far superior to anything we had ever experienced before - mind you we had never stayed in a 5 star all inclusive hotel so really can't compare like with like. Let's start with the good... more

We booked Club Voyage after reading the reviews on this site. They were spot on! We got to Club Voyage at 3am! The staff were friendly and check in was quick and simple. We then went to our room- which was small-so be prepared if you are a couple! At first we were going to... more

Good Holiday
we booked a family holiday in July, two children aged 10 and 12, overall a great hotel, the rooms are small with little room for your clothes but this was not an issue as we were too busy to spend time in the room. kids club was good even though the children are at the upper age limit, the relaxing pool was a let down as it was used for the small kids and lots of noise. we gave up on the pool as getting a sun lounger was impossible quests would actually remove our towels and claim ownership of all the beds. All the british quests were found at the beach ! beach was very nice and clean with plenty of activities. all of the restaurants very excellent the best all inclusive food i have had lots of healthy options too!, staff were friendly and helpful, particulary the animation team and kids club. the Turkish bath followed by the massage was great value and an excellent massage. overall very enjoyable not quite a 4 star though.
Great Holiday Ever Scotland
This Was Our First Time Visiting CLUB VOYAGE TORBA. We Went For Two Weeks. I Went With 8 Other Members Of My Family. The Age Ranged From 11 to 46 Years. The Animation Team Are So Nice & Friendly. They Is Three Pool But The Slide Pool Is The Best With Five Slides. They Is A Kool Two Person Rubber Ring Slide. The Only Bad Thing Is Get A Sun Bed.One Day Me & My Wee Sis Did Not Get A Sun Bed Untill 3pm. My Advise Is To Get Up Early & Put Your Towel On Sun Bed That Is What We Did For The Rest Of The Holiday. At Night Time Everyone Goes To The AmpThearter & Watched A Show. The Show Are Realy Good We Went & Watched The All Of The Shows Are Exellant.. Go Early To The Amp Thearter So That You Can Get A Good Seat & To Get A Mat To Sit On. Then Everyone goes To Open Disco Area Then You Can Get Something To Eat At 12pm to 1am At The Main Reaterant. Then You Can Go Down To Inside Disco. My Family & I Would Love To Go Back Again Colleen From Scotlad
Good
We went in May with two little kids (3 & 6). The staff nothing special but friendly. The entertainment team is Super... for the kids, but also for the adults. Every day something new. All day long food, drinks and Ice...You have to find a little your own way, or by other people. They don't have a good list what is where to eat and when...Example, Tosti in the teahouse, Pancakes just behind the teahouse. 24h hour bar is in the Patisseries etc. You can eat in 6 ala-cart restaurants for free 1 time to make a booking by phone. Eating in the beach bar, pool bar etc is also free during the day. Regular Ice creams for the kids for free etc. Swinging pools are good. Nice slides and the Guard is good! The first time the rooms are very hard to find, they tell how to go and bring your luggage. We lost finding our room. The signs are a little strange and there is no logic follow up system for the number…. Then the rooms are clean, simple and very small. Airco is ok. For a save you pay extra, that’s not all incl… For 1 Euro you can go with the Dolmus to Bodrum. In the Village Torba is nothing to do..Only a very small harbor with a few local restaurants/bars and hotels. Nothing special. We enjoyed our stay and taking all the advantages and disadvantages we can recommend the place. Kind regards
Excellent Family Holiday Resort
This is our second visit to the Club Voyage Torba in three years and I can say that we had a fantastic time. The hotel's facilities are first class with excellent restaurant and pool facilities. We ate at all of the a la carte restaurants with the exception of the Mexican and the service and meals were all excellent except the Fish restaurant where we found the service a little slow. There is food to suit all tastes both during the day and evening. There are bars open 24 hours, and the addition of the new disco is a bonus. All the alcoholic drinks were fine and we did not find them watered down at all. The new slide pool was loved by the whole party of 9 which ranged in age from 12 - 50, although you did have to get up very early to secure sunbeds around any of the pools. The rooms are basic but very clean and more than adequate. All the staff are friendly and helpfull and I would not hesitate to recommend this resort for an excellent family vacation.
Fantastic
We have just returned from Club Voyage Torba and have had a fantastic time. The hotel is first class, clean with really friendly and helpful staff, good choice of food available almost 24 hours, brilliant entertainment team, lovely pools, nice private beach, and really good childrens club. Get acquainted with the booking system for the al a carte restaurants and give them a try - check out the menus before you book as they might not be what you are expecting - but beautiful food all the same. Torba itself has only a handful of little bars/restaurants but Bodrum is only about 10 mins away in taxi or bus and has a food market on a Saturday and clothes/fabric market on Tuesday, plenty of shops and resturantants in Bodrum. We took Turkish Lira but everywhere is more than happy to accept Euros.
hot meals COLD!!
returned back from a last minute deal £430 for 2 adults. 14th - 21st may 2007. Well where do we start!!! Firstly, the checking in, no problems, front desk staff ok but not very informative about the hotel. We had to ask other English people( if i could find any as there were only handfull there, it wouldnt have been that much of a problem if the staff could have spoke basic English! ie to know what a fork is, or salt, where bars dining areas etc were!). we were taken to our room. Room ok, very clean but small, but adequet for the two of us. not alot of draw space to put your bits and bobs in .Out on the terrace was a small table and two chairs. Our room was next to the kids play area but wasn't that noisy. The grounds and gardens are kept very nice. There was a 24hr bar of which my husband decided to try out on his arrival while i unpacked! on his return at 5.30am he had got lost!!! it took him a hour and a half to find his way back, as the complex is like a maze and not very well sign posted!!(so he told me, more like too much Raki! ha ha) Beach- plently of sunbeds and beach towels with two great jettys. FOOD- the main seating area was like a school canteen! There was an excellent choice of food and you wont go hungry, but in the 7 nights and days we ate there, not one meal was hot!! Always luke warm or cold. To be safe we only ate salads bread soup etc or waited for something to come straight off the grill so it was piping hot. the cakes are to die for much better in the 24hr bar. Tried 3 of the al a carte resturants not bad not brill! Nothing around hotel but the dolmus outside hotel 1.70 liri to bodrum. £8 in a taxi! They run until 1am. Overall i wouldnt rate this hotel a 4* more like 3* .but for what we paid not bad but wouldnt pay full brouche price!
Chaos!
Unfortunately ended up here after finding that the hotel we had booked turned out to be closed. Chaos rules supreme here whilst it may have been ideal for some families with its own water park a few pools and being right by the beach there is nothing else around and the hotel just seemed manic! Dining arrangements were mayhem with the food being arranged so far apart that by the time you had put together a meal it was cold. We arrived late just at the end of the official dining time and the food was cold and not helped by the fact we had no one to show us where to get the relevant ingredients for a good meal. Only put up with the mayhem for one night as my friend and I had come for a quiet relaxing break. If that is what you are after don't come here! Additionally the room was like a holiday camp chalet very basic and not to a 4 star standard. The accomodation was spread over such a wide area children could get lost never min the adults! We did and had to be rescued by the security staff who escorted us back to our rooms! The staff were okay but as we did not stay too long so cant really comment further. All in all not impressed with this one if you want a great hotel in turkey try the club isis as per my next review!
nightmare
we went to club voyage torba for our honeymoon. we were put there 5 days b4 we went by travel agent. the room was nice and always cleaned well with flowers put on our bed. because it was our honeymoon we also got wine and fruit which was nice. The reception staff were not very helpful but all other staff were fab. everywere u went in hotel grounds was clean and tidy we cud not fault them 4 that. But this is not a hotel for english people there was only a handful of english there, and animation team had a habit of speakin in all other languages but english. hotel was full of dutch people. The food was just catered 4 the dutch no english food and what ever we did try was cold it didnt matter wot time u went 4 it, this was the case in a la carte resteraunt we went to pool bar were u can get pizza and pasta which was ok but it was only open for 4 hrs a day and there is only so many times in a week u wnt to eat that. when u leave the resort there isnt a cafe, bar, shop or anything for 4 miles. we spent a fortune on taxis dolmus 2 try and get sum life and decent food. if u like sumwere quiet with lots of dutch ppl and cold food this is the place 4 u. watch 4 rambo he is cool all he says is hello i love u they r only english words he knows !!!
Turkey, Bodrum a must for families and a good vacation
We have just returned from CLUB VOUAGE ( TORBA) in Bodrum. First of all i would like to mention that the rooms are very small, they were not cleaned to our standards and we needed to call in daily for our room to be cleaned. There was not enough cupboard space for 2 adults and 2 children. That was our only complaint. The rest of the RESORT was excellent. The resort is HUGE and once you start walking around, you discover the greek, italian, chinese, mexican and turkish restaurant ( which you may eat at once during your stay). The food is excellent and it is available 24/7. I felt sorry for the staff because i felt like they were over worked. You have little bars around every little corner that offers you coffee, soft drinks and alchohol. The staff very friendly. They have an excellent kiddies club and the staff are great with the kids. Lots of activities were planned for the kids every day. The kids also had their own min buffet which they could go to at 6.30 pm. CLUB VOAGE had its own waterparl with slides. We would suggest you go in summer ( June - July) as we felt the water was very cold for us( we are from Saudi Arabia). You are able to catch a shuttle bus for only 1 euro to the town of BODRUM , where shopping is cheap and the ladies would go mad. We felt that TURKEY is very cheap and Safe and the next time we go we will go to ISTANBUL.We found that the RESORT is a definate 5 star , BUT the rooms are a 2 star. A definate must holiday for families. Both parents and children will enjoy the food, the sun and the relaxation.
Attractive Hotel
Stayed here recently. All inclusive. Were having a nice time but got ill within two days of arriving sickness/diaorrhea ended up on drip in hotel room. Hotel doctor tried to make me go to an offsite clinic for tests.Felt poorly for 24 hours then could not eat much for days. Could not go on trips for fear of recurrence. Was wary of hotel food after this. My husband also suffered similar problems towards the end of our week there. Hotel looked good. Nice swimming pools. Lovely beachside location. Speciality restaurants as well as main buffet restaurant with good selection of food. International clientele hardly any english people staying there. My tour company had eight people staying there. It is a very big hotel but it was easy to get sunloungers apart from near the slide pools at back of hotel which were extra popular. Some staff friendly. Reception/Guest liaison not overly helpful.
