I stayed at the Cavendish Hotel in September 2008. The food and service were absolutely excellent. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. My room was large and very comfortable, quiet with a partial view of the sea. My caveat is that I booked through a company called Otel.com which gave the appearance of offering very competitive rates. Otel.com charged me a whopping $1452 equivalent to 849.34 GBP. My friends booked directly with the Cavendish and paid just 473 GBP for exactly the same type of accommodation and services. I contacted Otel.com and explained the situation politely but met with a very unhelpful and curt response. I shall never book with Otel.com again. I expect companies to make a profit but this is unacceptable. My strong recommendation is that you book with directly with the Cavendish or your particular hotel and avoid Messrs Otel.com like the plague. Dr MdM

Hotel service and rooms brillant, very good indeed, position brillant over looking sea, only one thing I did not like and that was the holding deposit you pay on arrival as this is explained it will not come off yr account it is only a holding deposit, but be careful it DOES come off your account and as such for 3 days or more you are paying an extra amount as when you leave they charge you the full balance and do not deduct the holding deposit.
Other than this I cannot fault the Hotel at all, staff, food, rooms are all brillant and I would give it a 5 star rating, really enjoyed it.
