This hotel is in a small village in Donegal. The village has shops, bars, hairdressers/beauty salons, restaurants and take-aways as well as being beside the sea but it is quite far away from the main town of Donegal (Letterkenny) - about a 40 minute drive and only one bus goes every day. Still, if you are looking for relaxing and peaceful!
The hotel itself has seen better days. It's nice and clean (ish!) but not worth the amount they charge. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful. The breakfast is ok. the bar is nice but if it is in any way busy, service is extremely slow. The rooms are ok for a short stay, but I can't imagine staying longer than a few days.
I wouldn't stay again as there are other hotels in the area that are in or around the same price but would appear to be of a higher quality.
