Felbridge Hotel

Stayed here for two nights for a work conference. The hotel is rated by the AA as four star, and lived up to my expectations from a four star hotel. We decided to stay there before going to Gatwick for our holiday. As it advertises itself as a spa hotel we thought it will be nice and relaxing, a good start to our holidays. To our disappointment it was not the case. The hotel is well decorated but our room was tiny, same as the swimming pool. In additional there was a party going on and we were unable to sleep. We paid £140 for the night. I have to say that value for money is very poor and if I would have known that I would have stayed at home!

We usually stay at the Arora Gatwick but were tempted by the Felbridge's new refurbishment and the pool complex. We booked a hotel and 15 day parking package via holidayextras and arrived about 5pm on the Monday. Pool is lovely but more for relaxing in rather than swimming lengths as it's an irregular shape. Jacuzzi was a nice alternative too. If we'd had more time we'd have booked spa treatment at their Chakra spa. Parking was easy enough and the car stayed where it was for the 11 nights. Due to an early morning flight from Gatwick I decided to try a parking and hotel package as an alternative to getting up in the middle of the night and using ariport parking. Booking was easy (used parking4less) although I had to call to clarify arrangements for transfers which weren't clear on the website. The hotel was very easy to find, the staff were lovely. The rooms were very nice although not huge. The taxi transfers were very easy (cost £12.50 each way). My car was left in the hotel car park for the period of my absence... more

I suggest you disregard any comments more than say, six months old. This place is brand new. We used the spa for excellent massages and a facial. The food was good, room a good size, quiet aircon, every member of staff was friendly and helpful. They don't do the car parking whilst on holiday deal anymore as it attracts the wrong type of clientele. There are 2 restaurants – one good and the other for “fine dining”. Well worth trying.

We stayed two nights on a weekend package (breakfast included) in an executive room. Definately the best hotel room I've ever stayed in - everything brand new, contemporary decor to high standard, good size, perfectly clean and attention to every detail. We stayed at the Felbridge one night before we travelled from gatwick the following day. The hotel staff were unbelievably helpful and made our short stay so easy and trouble free. We left our car and everything was just as we left it. We would definately stay there again !

We stayed at this hotel overnight which included 15 nights parking. We were made very welcome after our 5 hour drive and the room was fantastic ,very large with two double beds and a flat screen tv. The hotel is very modern and clean and checkin/out was fine and on our return the car was ready and waiting. We thought that the bar and restaraunt prices were a little steep but that is your choice. Overall we would stay at this hotel every time we fly from Gatwick and would certainly recommend it.

Warm welcome, stayed for one night with 15 days parking. The hotel is in the middle of refurbishment they have obviously done the front of the hotel first and getting round to the rooms. Room was ok but nothing special. Left to early for breakfast so cannot comment on the food. Car was fine on collection.

I stayed here for one night prior to flying from Gatwick Airport with my husband and young daughter. The hotel is approx 20 min (hotel) bus ride away from Gatwick airport and provides secure parking for your vehicle whilst on vacation. The staff were very polite, very helpful, and never left you waiting - whether the reception, bar or restaurant. The hotel is clean, although it is some what dated. I would expect a lot of the following will be rectified soon as the hotel is currently undergoing renovation (we were not disturbed at all... more
