Hotel Palladium

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We were greeted with a cold fruit drink as we were checking in and couldn't believe how beautiful the facility was. The staff were so nice, answered all of our questions and were available any time we needed them. We didn't feel like we were just another number to them and they made us feel so welcome. Our room was on the top floor and we had a great view of Plati Yialos and the surrounding area. It is a five minute walk down to the beach and ten minutes back up. The pool area was well maintained and peaceful, Jason the pool barman was very attentative, in fact all of the staff there were friendly and helpful. Lovely interior design - modern but not austere. Friendly staff and only a short walk to the busy beach. Nice touches like bathrobes and slippers add to the comfort of the stay. Quite quiet with an intimate restaurant with good view of the town. Good value for money for Mykonos but others in the area have better room views directly overlooking the sea but are double the price.

I have read several reviews in many trip advising sites about this boutique hotel and I couldn't have a clear opinion for this hotel. I thought that the best way is to find myself so I visited Mykonos last summer. The place is fabulous, the hotel is a piece of art and the stuff really welcoming and friendly, ready to solve any problem. A must visit resort, really clean and comfortable rooms, great sea view and satisfactory service. Excellent impressions at all, one of the best summer I have ever had in Palladium Boutique hotel.

We stayed in an ocean view room. The view is not worth any extra money you might pay for it - infact it's pretty disappointing. The hotel is not that close to the water and power lines ruin the view. Good points - the hotel is really modern and well appointed. Our room was spacious, extremely clean, cool marble tiled floor, lovely bathroom, large bed and a DVD player which was very handy late in the evening when we fancied veg'ing out. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. When we first saw our room, we were very disappointed. After the first night, we told the Front Desk that we were unhappy. They most agreeably showed us 4 different rooms in order to accommodate us better. We chose another and they graciously moved our things. We were very happy with this new room. We were absolutely shocked at the fact that they would not give us a break as far as their infamous cancellation policy: we could not use our 4 day pre-paid reservation because my husband had to go to THE HOSPITAL, in Athens, for 3 days... The hotel kept blaming hotels.com for the charge. No courtesy of any sort: we were charged for every extra, which, in our case, was a couple of soft drinks at the bar, when we left... after having paid for 4 nights and staying for only 2. Really enjoyed this hotel - stayed 6 nights at the end of September. Clean and airy rooms, great breakfasts, lovely (if not a bit small) pool and, best of all, really good location overlooking the sea. Even the local bus to Mykonos Town (took 10 minutes) stopped right outside although it would only take about 30 minutes to walk. The local beach (c. 200 metres away) was big with lots of facilities, including boats to the other main beaches on the south side of the island. All in all, strongly recommended.

We have stayed at Palladium Hotel for 7 nights. Overall, the service was great, the environment friendly, everything was well organised and in place. Next year, we will be back!
