The management of Golden Star Hotel values all sorts of reviews indeed as our primary goal is to achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. It is quite clear the fact that the main reason behind this was the view of the room you stayed in as well as the "poor experience" of the location. Obviously, the Chess Tournament Organizer didn't inform you that your room didn't have a sea view. We would have loved to upgrade you to a superior room on the waterfront if our occupancy didn't hit a 100% in late August. With regards to the location, Golden Star Hotel is situated on its own blue flag awarded private beach just 18 km from Thessaloniki’s city centre. It's strategic location combines relaxing vacations or business traveling with easy access to Thessaloniki's airport [just 7 km away] and Chalkidiki.
