King Jason Hotel

The hotel is small, dirty, an unfriendly staff, horrible location and not worth the money. We went for a honeymoon & this was booked by our travel agent (who we'll never use again!). We booked three nights, and after one horrible night we left even though they wouldn't refund any of our money & stayed elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

We stayed for 3 nights at King Jason and it was much worse than we could imagine. The room was very old and the overall conservation terrible. However, the worst was the neighbourhood. Despite being close to the metro and within walking distance to Acropolis, the surrounding areas are dark and freightening at night. Not worthy the money spent.

The hotel was OK for the price and the service reasonable. The location, though is terrible. There are derelict buildings around it (this was Sept 2005). That said, you can get into the centre of the city quite easily on the underground. Avoid the taxis if possible: the drivers obviously hate you and don't bother trying to hide it.

This is a good value 3* hotel - rooms are reasonable large, bathroom is basic but clean. Location is on a side street - it's OK but not the best location. Walking distance to Acropolis. Fine for a mid-range tourist holiday.
